Wow! The odds of Morocco winning the match against Guinea are 2.05... In my opinion, that's a gift for the gambler! The statistics for the head-to-head encounters between these countries are also in Morocco's favour... Some people call Morocco the second team of France... Cheesy

Everyone's focus was on the UEFA and the CONMEBOL qualifiers, and hardly anyone took the CAF qualifiers seriously. But there are a few upsets happening over there. The match between Morocco and Guinea is scheduled for November, if I am not wrong. So the odds can change very quickly. If the gamblers feel that the odds offered by the sportsbooks doesn't conform with the current form of the two teams, then a lot of them will be making their bets for the under-rated team. The sportsbook will immediately adjust the odds, to take this into account.

As far as I know, Morocco are unbeaten in their last 19 or 20 matches. Their gameplay is now much developed than before. As a team, they are very stable and their teamwork is very good. They are in good form now. My guess is that they will be able to beat the Guinea team as well.

late goal by Kosovo brought me a win, combined with handicaps on Germany and Spain, which both were on a scoring mission against low-quality opponents
Belgium also won easily, and odds were solid for a win over Czech republic

Greece actually has three games in qualifications, all played 1:1
but, did anyone noticed that Ukraine has five matches - five draws in this qualifications, cannot remember similar situation, it is usually all wins and loses, since there is a quality discrepancy in qualification groups

I'm calling it quits in this week for international matches. Going to save my money for club football. Think the only value now is big singles on BTTS as Trofo calls for Greece, and handicaps for the IT, FR, and maybe goalscorers. But that's not really my style so I'll probably stick to a bit of tennis for now and just watch the remaining games for laughs. At least there's plenty of that...

Germany was in a spot of bother, after their defeat to North Macedonia a few months back. Even a draw would have made sure that they remain at the no.2 position in the group. It is a very tough group, with teams such as Romania, North Macedonia and Iceland also fancying their chances of qualifying to the world cup. Nothing is guaranteed for now. Germany has 12 points from 5 matches, and Armenia (despite the recent defeat) is close behind with 10 points from their five. And for Germany, the next two matches are against quality opposition (Iceland and Romania).

But Germany has all the conditions to beat Iceland with some ease. The most difficult game is perhaps against Romania, even so Germany is superior. Of course if they continue to play poorly, they will make their own situation difficult, but I think they will turn around.

Poor Armenia (6-0) and San Marino (7-1) were just demolished by Germany and Poland yesterday. But the results were really obvious before they started.
For me it wasnt so clear about the result as they got it hard in the game about Lichtenstein.
But i have seen the match yesterday from Germany against Armenia and i was really surprised when have seen the playing style from Germany.
For sure it was only " Armenia " but they played very good and that the whole time , looking forward to the next match.
Also i was surprised from the new young players that got the chance to play.

Those are the standings as of now. By the time the group stage comes to an end, I expect Portugal to top the Group A (right now both Serbia and Portugal have 10 points from 4 matches, but Serbia is ahead as a result of better goal difference). If Portugal somehow misses the boat to Doha in 2022, then a lot of people will be disappointed. As you have correctly pointed out, it may be the last world cup appearance for Cristiano Ronaldo. He's already 36 years old and I don't think that he will continue playing until 2026.

Yes, World Cup 2022, it should really be the last world championship that Ronaldo will participate in. But I think he should still participate in the 2024 European Championships.

So, let's see Ronaldo giving everything he has to the team to perform well.

We still don't know it yet. And I don't think that Ronaldo has decided when to end his national team career. I expect him to play football until the age of 40 at least. If he doesn't retire from the national team before, then we can see him in the next European Championship also. And Ronaldo is still very strong and energetic. He is still very determined. And as long as he is in a good shape, he should be able to play until being 40 at least.

This was what made Italy champions in the last tournament I do agree, team bonding is so important. And the same as you said with Spain during their era of perfection. But I would say also it's not the only thing, not also the most crucial. If you have full professionals and a gameplan that works, and a team understanding, you could even be enemies with all 11 of the players on the pitch and win like a machine. Pass or not pass, not because you are friends, but because that is the game plan.
Teamwork is important, but it is also very important how the coach sets the players up for the game. after all, players who play the game selfishly can be put on the bench, thereby showing that this will not work in his team. But if you take Immobile in Italy, then I will say that he very often does not give a pass at the right moment. But despite this, Italy still plays team football, and does not draw out victories on the individual talents of football players.

They will probably feel the same way.

France may be having the best football players, but it is of no use if there is no bonding between the players. Everyone wants to score on their own, and don't want to pass the ball. Sometimes it work, and sometimes it doesn't. Spain and Italy on the other hand are teams with perfect coordination between the players. The same can be said about Belgium as well. Lukaku may be the best player in Europe, but it is of no use when he fails to pass the ball. Even in the Euro Cup, he wasted some good chances because he wouldn't pass the ball.

Tomorrow, the match of the day is going to be Netherlands vs Turkey, in my opinion. Turkey are leading their group with 11 points and Netherlands are at the second place with 10 points. Turkey defeated Gibraltar 3-0 in their last match and they would have even scored 5+ goals. But they let Gibraltar have few critical goal chances also. On the other hand, Netherlands demolished Montenegro 4-0 and they have boosted their morale a lot also. Turkey haven't defeated Netherlands in this stadium in history. And it is doubtful that they can win this match also. I'm favouring Netherlands in this match but it will still be a tough match surely.

The four premier league arrested by ANVISA personnel and Brazilian Federal Police for lieing about completing the quarantine upon entering the country. What's your take, was it right to interrupt the match or should they have waited after the match before taking the stars away. Because at the moment Brazil against Argentina for the world cup qualifers has to be refixed for a latter date.

Belgium destroyed Czech Republic by 3-0 and they really dominated the game. Lukaku got 1 goal and 1 assist. And in the Switzerland - Italy game, Italy dominated the first half but couldn't score a goal. And in the second half, there was a more balanced game. But none of the teams were able to score at the end. I would expect Italy to win this time.

Anyway. Had my first win yesterday thanks to Wales but couldn't enjoy anything more from the rest of the games as Italy AND Greece messed me up.

Particularly for Lingard who had a super performance and already showing both country and club coach and fans that his morale is high (probably with the thoughts of playing with CR7 after the international break, which you see after he mimicked CR7's signature celebration with an upgrade or maybe with the thoughts of England unbeaten run in the qualifiers so far). He hasn't scored a goal for England in a really long time.

Very different England team that could only score 1 goal max each game in the last tournament group stage, so I'm sure a lot of English fans are getting excited (they are 3rd favorite by the way to win WC).

So happy for Jesse Lingard too. Great player and talent but he kept drowning among superstars at Manchester United. Ronaldo might drown him even further though;)

@morvillz7z @Slow death @LTU_btc @snipie Yeah, was thinking exactly that yesterday. No one does drama in Europe like Ronaldo, but no one does drama regionally like CONMEBOL. Saw some pics of the officials, the way they were absolutely insistent on humiliating Argentina the way they did. It's like the boss wanted to make a super statement and win big medals for his cojones.

I want to see CR7 play in the 2022 World Cup which may be his last world cup performance before he retires. I tip Portugal, Croatia and Netherlands to secure the last 3 spots.

Jesse Lingard was actually on Manchester United's selling list and there was almost an agreement between Man United and West Ham for the transfer of Lingard but Lingard prefers to stay at Man United. His performance against Andora was indeed very good, and maybe Solskjaer will pay more attention to him or give Lingard a chance to play as a starter.

Overall, England played very impressively. From the start of the match, England had been pressing Andorra so they can dominate the game with 83% ball possession and won the game easily with a score of 4-0.

Belgium played with thier top players, which made the match an easy winning for them. Lukaku scored the first goal 8 minutes into and game, while Hazard scored the second goal in 41 minutes still in the first half. And Saelemaekers scored their last goal in the second half. They will be playing against Belarus, in their next match. Which I think they will also win.

Belgium is a strong team. Especially they have some world-class strikers. Hazard and Lukaku are outstanding players. They also won the previous match against Estonia 5-2. They should improve their defense a bit. Such a defense against a strong team will not be very effective.
But I was impressed by Poland's gameplay. They beat San Marino 7-1. We saw a lot of attacks from Lewandowski in this match.
