🇺🇦 Glory to Ukraine!
Today we will watch next chapter of games, Israel and Austria might be the most exciting game. Austria have great weapons such as Arnautovic and Baumgartner. Israel have experienced midfielder Eran Zahavi who scored four goals already. I think both teams want to win this game and if we see first goal early I expect this match to go over 2.5 goals and both teams to score.
The other great match would be Ukraine and France. France missed a chance by Bosnia Herzegovina draw at home, so they have to win this match no matter what. Ukraine led two times but got only draw in Kazakhstan match, they also need points in this game. France is favorite but it will be a though match. I pick both teams to score for this match too.

Yes, my only interest in today's matches is Ukraine vs France. I agree, it will be a though match and Ukraine has proven to be a tough nut to crack in the past, but I think France could take three points with a minimal goal difference. Just because this match means a lot to them, the French will be motivated to score. On paper, this should be an easy win for France, but in the real world, I'm expecting a hard fought match that will be decided by the drop of a hat.

The Spain vs Sweden match was a shocker. Spain ended up losing a world cup qualifier match after gap of 28 years. During this time, Spain had won 52 of their 66 matches, while the remaining 14 ended in draw. Spain became a bit complacent after Carlos Soler put them ahead in the 4th minute, and Sweden used this opportunity to level the scoreboard through Alexander Isak. But they are in comfortable position as far as the qualification is concerned. Despite the loss, they have 7 points from 4 matches and most of their remaining matches are against weak teams.

Do they have disqualification by TV in South  America? rules are slightly different there.

Yes, they use VAR in CONMEBOL. Martinez was first shown yellow, after var check ref changed it to a straight red, and rightfully so.

PSG escaped another very bad injury of Hakimi also https://mobile.twitter.com/MaghribFut/status/1433527721599012868

Ah, shit...this looks just as bad.

As for the Premier League 10-day mandatory quarantine, that means Leicester City's duo Iheanacho and Ndidi, as well Man City's Mahrez would all miss the next couple of league matches as they all travelled.

Small correction, the 10-day mandatory quarantine is only for players returning from countries that are on Britain's red list. Iheanacho and Ndidi should be available for Leicester and won't miss time as they won't play vs. Cape Verde.

Quote
Seeking a fourth straight World Cup and seventh overall, Nigeria will be without Iheanacho for their next game however as Cape Verde, who drew 1-1 with Central African Republic, is on the red list.

Mahrez, Mane, Aubameyang...i don't think any of those guys will miss time either, but it's annoying if you have set your FPL team and have to check the news for each and every one of them, just to make sure they don't need to quarantine.

I just can't believe Haaland is this good. His performance seems like enough to be a legend already in his Bundesliga career but he manages to have an absolute amazing performance in his national team as well. He just cannot stop scoring. What a player to watch. Cannot wait to see him in the World Cup.

Did anyone watch CONMEBOL qualifiers late last night?

Messi is extremely fortunate that he did not sustain a major injury following their match against Venezuela. He was this close to getting his left leg snapped in half after a reckless tackle, check out the video if you want:

Happens all the time but in this case, is about Messi and it went Viral.

A few words about the less than excellent performance in yesterday's match between Italy and Bulgaria that ended in a 1-1.
The Azzurri, even though they remain first in group C, have a 4 point advantage that cannot be enough to feel safe: Switzerland (second place) has two matches less and Yakin is ready to take advantage of the direct match on Sunday in Basel. However, he will not have Xhaka: the captain, the only not-vaccinated player of the group, is Covid-19 positive.

I think everyone lost their bets on Italy last night. I think no body guessed that the Euro champion would draw against Bulgaria that cannot win against anyone. For Xhaka he is such a bad player and to even captain both Swiss and Arsenal is the biggest shame in football history.
This is one sad incident that occurs in football betting where defending champions turns out to render your accumulated odds useless. I wasn't even expecting a draw from the match all I saw was a straight win for Italy yesterday but ended up drawing against Bulgaria. It got me sad but we still have to move on

It was a really weird match to be honest. It was a very lucky one for Bulgaria also. It was like their goal was blessed.  Grin  Italy played incredibly good in the second half especially. They increased their attacks and tried every way to score. They got 27 shots which was too many. However, they still couldn't score their second goal. This is football of course and sometimes things like this happen. Italy would make up for it in the next match against Switzerland I believe.

I had a small wager soon after the red card on Argentina to win, as well as Peru and Brazil to score. Little did i know, the Brazilian side had so many absentees, almost unrecognizable squad, hell they even had Hulk on the bench lol. I forgot that all their Premier League players are not allowed to travel because of the mandatory 10-day quarantine if they'd to travel back. Lucky me, they scored one after the break and with 7/7 they've pretty much qualified for the World Cup next year.

Messi indeed was very fortunate not to have been injured, I was able to catch the highlight and was surprised that he didn't leave the pitch after the tackle. The Argentina team seemed to be getting everything since before the Copa America, they have a more complete team and
 the chemistry really is there.

I was really frightened when I saw this tackle. It was very dangerous and critical for Lionel Messi. If it was much more serious, we wouldn't see him for a few months at least I guess or he wouldn't be able to play even until the end of the season. Players must be very careful about this kind of tackles. They can cause a really serious injury. I remember one time that Messi got injured seriously in an Athletic Bilbao game.

And the most surprising thing is that the referee initially only gave the player who made that fault! If the video referee had not corrected the situation, the offending player would have remained on the field.

There are fouls that can be clearly seen that can severely harm the opponent, they must always be dealt with a red card. Of course, the player did not make itenção to hurt the professional colleague, but that entry must always carry red card.

Spain had the focus on possession of the ball, but could not attack much. Sweden also attacked less, but their attacks were good, they were able to score. I lost my bet in the match between Italy and Bulgaria. I never thought Italy would draw this match. But Italy attacked a lot, they took 27 shots. I'm tired of watching France's matches now. Despite having such a strong squad, they perform very poorly.
Give France some time, pretty sure that they will pull it off when the time comes to pull it off, I mean it's still the qualifiers right? But I don't know about who's going to bring the cup next in this time but I am pretty sure that who will defeat France in the tournament proper will have a high chance at getting the next cup.
Exactly my point. The France team will definitely discover their lost form. It started since in the Euros, their defeat to Switzerland and how messy they played. France failure lately is a shock, because they actually have an extravagant squad that can deliver and win the country a lot of trophies. The have an array of stars who could produce a moment of magic when it was needed, players from the top teams in the top leagues. Their draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina was solely due to Kounde's sending off and personally, i think the midfield pair is kind of new and Veretout and Pogba has not played together. Its normally Kante and Pogba added with Rabbiot. There is need to blend so they can produce a good result.

The French team is not playing well because the mutual understanding between the strikers is not good. They are all great players. The main thing is that they want to score goals alone. They shot a lot of goalposts, but are not able to score. They have the ability to defeat any strong team if they have a good bond and a spirit of cooperation.

^ I bet against Italy, but I lost all my underdog singles as the best they could do was draw. Keep saying I should take handicaps or double chance but I can't get over my predilection for those tasty outright wins.

I did lose two accas with S Africa in them. Serves me right.

I think the French team's game is still good, and France remains top of Group D with 8 points from four games, and the draw against Bosnia doesn't change its position.
And France continued to play well despite dropping to 10 men after referee Sandro Scharer initially only got a yellow card, but after receiving input from Var the hemorrhoids turned it red for Kunde.
and the news that Kylian Mbappe against Bosnia was not optimal and at the end of the match had to be replaced with Deschamps, and in the fifth match later against Ukraine Mbappe was confirmed to be absent due to injury.
