That is, if Elon Musk changes his stance on bitcoin specially about bitcoin mining. Otherwise, this is just moot meeting and I don't see it will have a drastic impact on the market. Jack Dorsey though is a willing participant here. But if Elon Musk insist that bitcoin is harmful to the environment then there's nothing that Jack can do to sway his belief.

But probably more crypto enthusiast are going to tune in and wanted to hear Elon Musk. Specially when he started spewing things that he doesn't have knowledge (bitcoin mining).

Yes, what you say its true. Only closer to the time we'll know whether this meeting will actually take place or not. And, if it does, what it will mean for the immediate future of BTC. My expectation is that the market won't move much unless the meeting results in drastic opinion changes for either party. It is in both their own interest to spark market positivity or neutrality at least.

Maybe, or maybe not. Who knows if they will be talking about other things. What if it will be for the creation of a new coin for Twitter or maybe to endorse the meme coin more to him? Elon had been the face of the dog Roll Eyes

and I think that's all it is.
It will not be about Bitcoin but more of investing with coins they can manipulate. Both are billionaires and they can toy with the market of coins that has lesser value up until now. They can simply be partner in crimes to advertise them while they hold it and dump it when they are satisfied with the profits.

I do not like the direction this is going. Elon is trying to make btc succes dependent on so called 'clean energy ' Bitcoin is already successful and does not need lower energy to be used or accepted. I do not accept the negative narration they are trying to make about bitcoin!

I don't think their meeting would have a huge impact on BTC. Lots of people are done with Elon Musk's market manipulation and almost done with his own events. As we all know, he's been doing such things for his own benefit. I guess it would be better if we'll not put our hope on their meeting but rather focus on better events that would affect Bitcoin positively.

Many of us have a big hope for the bitcoin price to increase after that meeting. We may hear many speculations about what will happen to that meeting and hopefully, that can boost bitcoin price to start increase.
But I do not have a big expectation from that meeting because both Jack and Elon can plan what they will discuss. It is better to wait for that meeting and hopefully, that will not make the price is down but will increase.

Nah, I wouldn't put too much emphasis, and I doubt that it will have a positive effect on the market. People are done with Elon or at least Bitcoin investors because he exposes himself as ignorant of the subject of mining and it's supposedly bad effect on the environment.

I think he will continue to troll even after the meeting and I doubt that he will suddenly make a U-turn and sing all praises on BTC again. So let's not put our hope here, let the market goes on bearish for now. For sure before the end of the year we might see a good price or even new all time highs.

no one can give a guarantee that on that date the price of bitcoin can rise again, it's just that you have to be prepared when buying bitcoins now at prices that are still cheap because when the price of bitcoin rises in the near future then you will not miss the opportunity it's for profit.

Good or bad news greatly affects the movement of bitcoin and it doesn't mean we trust it completely and what we have to do is take the best moment when the price is still low to make a purchase and not because of the news.
and if it's true you will benefit because you make a purchase when the price is still cheap, and if not you will still benefit at another time because the increase will definitely occur, the most important thing is to be patient.

I think this meeting is very important, as a basis for discussing something serious, the impression of the meeting is actually more binding with a more appropriate discussion pattern, but I think it needs a mature concept for the smooth running of the meeting, if the impression of this meeting can be put to good use, then the opportunity success is much easier to get

This is a win for crypto as a whole and not btc only.

Am just hoping that the people that will be discussing this topic know the technical side of mining, perhaps do mine bitcoin too unlike speculating about it from a computer without technical know how.

And if the guys that will be defending bitcoin on how mining is done come out with strong points, it's sure going to be bullish!

when talking about elon musk about crypto there will be a lot of controversy and speculation. if indeed Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey have the power to pump bitcoin it seems that it will be good and can be used as a reference for crypto to recover faster

I do not expect that meeting but I hope something happens to the bitcoin price and hopefully, the price can grow up and break $40k. We do not know if that purpose is about how to mine bitcoin but I think there will be another reason why they have that meeting later.

But with or without that meeting, the bitcoin price will rise and no matter if that will happen in the future, we can wait for that. So we have 11 days later to see what they will discuss while we have more time to buy bitcoin at the current price.

The news about China is still bigger than that news, we can speculate on what will be the market effect but we can never deny that we face the biggest bad news this year already. We need bigger news than talk, a simple talk news will not drive the price up, it should be a formal or official announcement on the result of the meeting as long as it's positive.
