I added in the chart the value of volatility.
I used the classic formula of volatility, namely:
standard deviation of daily percentage changes.
Every day calculating the volatility based on the price up to 30 days ago.
It shows very clearly the regularyty of periods "pump",
which are the peaks in the volatility chart.

Very interesting. It would be useful to know the best way of getting at data in the blockchain; are there tools for that, is it in a standard format?
I'm surprised the blockchain holds so many zero balance addresses. Does a wallet creating new addresses broadcast all those just for the record? I don't understand why blockchain doesn't just hold transactions that have been actioned against addresses and then from that obviously would follow a minority of balances at zero.

I used a c++ program for extract data from blockchain,
all other language was too slow.
for chart and tables I used perl and gnuplot.
No, there are not broadcast address creation.... simply a lot of wallet used as "temporary" storage,
and this is a good reason for use the zero addresses as a measure of network effect.
