If i were you, i will release the bitcoin and sell it all, exchange it into fiat. Because the price of bitcoin for now is already good and you can earn a good profit from it.
Don't you think price can still grow well above the current range? However i also think shorting half of your holding at current price can give you enough fiat so that you can buy back in case of price get dumped hard.

I agree with you. It is cannot and will not be considered as stupidity if he still holds his bitcoin for 2.5 years. For sure he have such a great income and gained a huge profit from it after he have bought it 2.5 years ago. And he has this positive outlook that its price would continue to grow bigger and holding on to it.

i got all my freelance work payment via bitcoin all these 3 years. spent very little. believed in bitcoin and was holding all these times. finally its going uppppp !!! who is holding like me since this long?

You cant say stupid since people are different, you could assume that he spend somehow his coins in 2.5 years time but as he states he didnt even spend a single coins but we have the same thinking 2 years is soo long and for my situation i would definitely get some of those coins to be spent.
I'm holding some but I have also sold some. I'm not sure why it's going up so much. It could be a pump and dump or just panic buying. There's no way to know yet until we see a sell off.
Good that you have been able to hold on to your Bitcoin for that I long, I am sure that you can even make a profit right now if you sold. But yeah it is better to wait for the price to rise even more so that you can make more money.

I understand your point that bank can give some amount of interest value to us but that is not in bitcoin. If have some of your money with you put thst into to buy 5 bitcoins and hold for some long and If you see the price after 2 years I am sure price will be double on that time.
