These are the people who i hate the most peopel who are just holding bitcoins for nothing because they dont make money with it and they crash the price of the bitcoin the best!

yes i am also in favour of long term investment, it is really good to hold bitcoin fro more than 3 year, through this you are minimizing your risk of loosing money, in long term investment we do not care for the little dumps or ups, and it cannot compel for panic selling. The thing is that if you hold for the short term, bitcoin can be very stressfull because of it's volatiliy. And i honestly would rather invest in something less risky. But since we can hold bitcoin for a longer period, there is a less risk, because i believe even the buyers at 1200 usd back in 2013 will some day get ROI, on their investment.
All they need to do is being patient and hold.

The most people are now holding their coin and that is because the value of Bitcoin is going to be higher now so it will be smart if they are holding a little longer.
And that is important because you have to sell it on the right moment so you can earn profit.

Holding the bitcoin for such a long time is pretty cool but I also think its bad honestly due to the fact you on a certain point have to sell your bitcoins for some nice profits.

your holding for a long time. i also do this but not for 2.5 years yet but maybe a year. its very tempting everytime it rises to sell but i keep telling myself that i will get a bigger payoff by just holding.

that is what i call awesome commitment! it will pay off in the very end just hold it for longer even though i know it is tempting to sell when prices are profitable you should just keep on holding them for longer my selling point would be 800 or maybe even 1k but nothing below 800 cause for sure it will reach that amount before dieing out.
You are doing a good job just holding on to your bitcoins. I wish I had the patience to do that as well. I have only been holding bitcoin since April and sometimes I already get tempted to sell some.

Nice job OP! Holding is difficult through all of the ups and downs. So hard to predict what to do. That is why I just hold.

If OP bought and hold for 2.5 years means he could sell it now itself because if you see the price rate from that time to now means this is also best to sell for him.
you really do hold a strong, but now is not the right time to sell. you have to keep a strong hold until the price is really high, at least $2k or even $5k.

I'm also holding my bitcoins but not for long time like you, only hold it for 1-6 months. Holding your bitcoin until 3 years is really sick though, but you can earn profit right now.
same thing i'm also holding it for a long tim, in my case it's more like the OP, it's been the end of 2014 since i'm holding my 10 btc, those were bitcoin made with mining and i'm proud of their value now, i just hope we can return to the last ATH

As much as I want to hold my earnings from signature campaign, I was oblige to spend almost all of it. I am kind of envious with you cause it is like you do not need to work hard for it. I mean it is not your only source of income since you are able to keep it all.
I've been HODLING for around 2.5 years also. I was buying regularly until about a year ago, haven't bought since though. I've never sold any, I plan to HODL for a good 5+ years & just see what happens.

Good for you that you have been able to hold on to your Bitcoin for such a long time, I would not be able to do that. If you have been holding for so long then I am sure that you will be able to make a huge profit right now if you sold. Saving is pretty hard but I will try harder next time I buy Bitcoin.

im holding mine before halving. but spend it now. and im happy about it. because my btc for 500$. i think the most important part is you enjoy the item that you buy using your bitcoins
