Hi slush,
Any plans to add some extra data to the JSON API, particularly as it relates to individual worker stats (shares completed, score, last share received, and found blocks)?
I'm working on building an overview page where I can estimate the BTC (and USD at current rate) each rig has generated, offset by cost of electricity and build cost so I can track how long til my multiple rigs pay themselves off. Those 4 stats for each worker added to the API would make it completely automated, and the information is already being tracked on the profile page.

Hey Slush, maybe I'm blind but why is there no password change feature on the site? I had to use the "forgot password" feature which works fine but it would be kinda cool if you had something already like that in the control panel that worked just the same. Also a security question upon password reset would be a good idea I think.

Oddly ... deepbit.net hasn't updated my payout amount in a few hours. What is up with that? Is something going on with deepbit or is refreshing the browser resetting the "1 hour"? I was trying to explain to my Wife how this all worked [and to explain why the fans in the office are louder than normal] and have been trying to show her the increase ... and it never increases 
In proportional mode your balance is updated only if block was found during that hour; some blocks take more than a hour to find.In pay-per-share mode your balance is incremented even if block wasn't found.
Ah, that makes sense. Thank you for the answer. I notice that some have take almost three hours to run today, so I shouldn't be surprised then

Today's 1.1mil round was really crazy. Hope we will have better luck now .
All payments were processed before few minutes, I'm very sorry for troubles. I had suspect for some bug in the payment system, so I stopped transfers until some investigation. Automatic payments are turned on again.

Given the last few days of DDos attack, 1.1 mil rounds, payment system issues, I don't envy your job slush.

There is no such thing, unless you are rounding. CFD cannot reach 100%, it can only approach it.There is always a small chance that NO suitable hash exists for given combination of transactions and other data.
That's why you can't calculate required time for 100%

I think with the right conditions a rare occurrence similar to finding a 50BTC hash reward using CPU mining solo could occur to make 100% possible; in fact, I think the odds are considerably higher

Yes we got there . Don't know if anyone else had this happen but before the "long block" I was only a little away from the payout threshold. I saw a lot of blocks confirmed but my confirmed reward hadn't gone up since, although total reward has. I thought maybe recalculating the confirmed rewards only happened when a new block was solved but that doesn't seem to have happened yet after a few blocks have been solved since.

Statistically we are all sorts of jacked at the moment.
However, we all my might want to consider that maybe its the statistics/my account part of the site that is busted. I'm not sure if there is an external way to see if we are solving blocks, but the idea that maybe just the front end is broken and mining is functioning properly seems more reasonable than an attack or the numbers provided by VPoro.

I'm not necessarily saying its an attack I'm just saying statistically there is a very high probability that something is wrong and a very low probability that everything is running normally.

Don't get me wrong...it's been 7 hours. I can only imagine that something is up, and I agree with you wholeheartedly. I'm a numbers man myself, so I can say that is this is epically improbable. :-/ I'm totally okay to think that we're under attack, because that means we've attracted some very seriously intelligent adversity. Slush, if this goes much past 9 hours, can you take a look?

I've seen blocks take 10 hours to find. Granted that was back when the pool was around 80 Ghash/s. It is very unlikely, but still possible to have a block take 6+ hours. It would have to be a very clever attack for this sort of thing to be accomplished.

I can't even comprehend the type of attack this would take to pull this off. Granted, I'm still a noob, but you guys are definitely teaching me. I left Slush's the other night for a few hours and felt awful about it...been with the pool since I started with my CPU, pulling a nickel every day and a half. (and doing a hell of a lot better now, tyvm)
