Slush's hash rate 6219953.376 Ghash/s just now!

Watch your block rewards melt down like snow cones in the August sun. Cool

Depends on if its a walmart ice cream samich.  Wink

Yep, my payout for each round is about 1/4th what it was before the increase in difficulty.

Wow, 11 blocks in the verification queue. I think that is a record for my time mining here!

Meh. Looks like 316808 is orphaned. Oh well, still interesting.

Brainwashed this way
If there would be a problem like that it would most likely be only in the front end of the pool(what you see on the website). The back end, where the mining actually happens is a separate entity. Even if the website totally goes down or gets errors, the back end keeps mining correctly. You can also put in a service ticket on the website with your concerns and Slushs team will look into it for you.

Same situation here.

Today repaired a miner that had a faulty blade and it's now mining OK according to the status page on the miner.
However Slush reports 0.0 Mh/s even after waiting 30 - 60 minutes. I would expect to see a slow increase in Mh/s during the first hour of mining.

Seems to be something wrong on Slush side. Just hope my shares won't be lost. It's about time this S3 is generating some revenues after arriving as DOA-unit.
[Great service from Bitmaintech to swap out the faulty board by UPS within a week]

BTW my other miners report the right stats on Slush only the re-attached S3 miner is showing 0.0.

EDIT: after regular checks it seems the Mhash/sec are currently not being updated on the website. My android app is showing that my miners are all working normally and with expected hashrates. Also payout seems consistent so no need to worry about that.

Hi

My Miners stopped working this morning so I rebooted my mining controller (a raspberry pi which has 4 rock miner R Boxes connected).

Since then the details on slush pool are confusing.

The mining software is reporting the correct hash rate but slush isn't although it does reflect the fact that I am mining.  My Hash rate is showing as zero but my unconfirmed reward is going up.  Any ideas?

Is it generally agreed that Slush has been trustworthy and nothing shady is happening?

Does anyone actually make sure when the pool finds a block, that it actually gets distributed to its workers?

There are actually certain long time members of this community that spend a lot of time trying to prevent scams and other dishonest activities here. I'm sure they would be all over a theft by a pool operator who also uses this forum. Slush is legit. Always has been, always will be.

it would be pretty obvious. why would slush even need to do that since he is making a killing from us all.
crazy talk
I've been monitoring my payouts from Slush over many months and can 'testify' that they were consistent with the reported values on the Stats page and payout history.  There were some rare 'glitches' that caused delays in a small number of cases, but these have been rectified eventually.  As suggested, Slush benefits long term from honesty and transparency.

Cheers

^ I've had to add 250ghs per mining rig to keep my payout the same at this score based pool. It now takes 2.5th to get 0.01 payout per BLOCK on slushes pool. I was running 4.5th(2.25th per rig) here to get 0.02 per BLOCK, now I've bumped it up to 5th to keep my total payout per BLOCK the same. The other pool I mine on has pplns payout so I keep my DAILY payout at 0.02. Ive had to add about the same ratio in ghs to keep a 0.02 payout per DAY at BTCguild. It now takes 1.25th there to get the 0.02 per DAY payout. It was only taking 1.1th before. Keeping my payouts at a certain amount by adding ghs(most of the time small, sometimes large) has worked very well for me. I also have some hosted miners, but I use a slightly different strategy with those.

Even if I wanted to keep adding miners I really couldn't unless I have an electrician put in a couple more circuits...$$$...not going to happen. I have miners in my garage, office, bonus room and crawlspace. The Mrs. would not stand for miners in the bedroom ;-)

Extension cord spliced into another circuit in the attic she will never know... LOL
