since he is talking about 1600mh/s he wasn't making .1 a day for 1+ months so he is in error as
Average hashrate in last 10 rounds: 3640 Mhash/s does .1 a day....
so since he is in error he is talking about his reward in the last weeks going from .05ish to .025 so yeah that was directly caused by

Wow! I wish I had your 1600MH/s. Mine averages between 1600-1700MH/s and I hardly ever see mine go over .040/day. This week makes a full month for me mining so your .1 might of been before the last few difficulty changes. Using Slush's charts page I average .036-.042/ day. With the really lucky day we had a day or two ago I got .053.

0.038/day for 1600 MHash/s would be your income interpolated from my earnings.
You are correct, just plugging ASICs into the pool right now would not change your income at once.
But every two weeks approx the difficulty is adjusted to keep the total network at one block per ten minutes.
Additional hashing power causes the block frequency to rise -> difficulty rises -> same hashing power finds less blocks -> block frequency drops back to one per ten minutes.

As long as you do not increase your own hashing power in the same rate the total network hashing power rises, your earnings will drop with every difficulty increment.

Anyone able to say what 1600 MHash will net in 24 hours these days?

I went from over .1 BTC to around .025 in just a couple weeks, and that just seems really wrong.

Maybe. I lost my biggest miner at that time.
So I do not understand how to estimate my rewards as statistics shows huge shares with little payout.

2) You're not paid for shares. You're paid for your hashing power.

Actually, 47 shares in 7.5 minutes seems way to low for a 2.5 GH/s miner.
Ah, wait, your difficulty is set higher than 1, is it?

Later shares get higher scores, did you possibly have a little downtime near the end of that 4:20 round?
