Topic: $42,000 dollars to buy Bitcoin and Litecoin - Time to buy? (Read 12486 times)
I am wondering why are you not giving much of the attention to ETH? This coin is getting attention of every crypto lover and its gonna do best in the march month or so according to the speculations section. I have been reading lot of buzz about it really and thats why looking after this investment. Also, if you ask yourself and see how the market is evolving for ETH then I would say its even better than the LTC or BTC. So my preference really goes to the ETH, then BTC and lastly for the LTC. I am holding my coins too and recently made transfer of the BTC to ETH for the sake of good things I juts wrote above. :-) Hope we hold and hold and then earn back the reward that we are looking for.

oh that great investment and you have choose right time for buying as price of BTC is now a days is low as compare to past and expectation is that price will be increased in future as people again start investing and we hope this time it will hit 30K$ very soon. while litecoin is also the best choice you also need to go through to ethereum which is the second best coin.

This is my opinion, please wait until the price of bitcoin and Litecoin drops by 3% or more should buy. In the next few months it will happen so please be patient. I recommend investing in bitcoin more than Litecoin. As far as I'm aware, Litecoin does not have as big a impact as bitcoin at the moment, so the price will not rise as high as bitcoin. I recommend investing 70% in bitcoin and 30% investing in litecoin, you will be profitable.
this is a good idea to wait until litecoin drops by 3% because we can buy as much as litecoin we want with our money. but don't forget to divide your money to two parts for bitcoin and litecoin and I agree with you for the percentage for each coin and I think litecoin will give us a big profit for a long term investment. and for bitcoin itself, I think we cannot buy right now because bitcoin price it seems wants to rally to higher price and we need to wait for a while after bitcoin price is stable like last weeks.

Hi guys, Bought all the money worth of litecoins, ha ha, call me crazy!. I'm here again after HODL for 3 years (I'm a professional Hodler) , I saw my investment worth only 20% of the total, I did not despair in any moment, I discovered how cold I am
Now I have my first million here in Brazil (BRL Brazilian Real), It is a good amout of money in my country, and I just 30 years old, ha ha!
Selling my Litecoins today, I can buy exactly 10 apartments like the apartment I have sold years ago to buy Litecoins. For example, buying 10 apartments and renting, I can live quietly and comfortably here in Brazil, and best of all, without having to work
I will continue HODLING until it reaches $200+
I think I'm the first (or only?) Crazy to sell an apartment exclusively to invest in Litecoins, ha ha ha!

The op took a risk but it seems it has paid of maybe he could get some fiat just to protect himself in the case everything goes down in flames in the case things turn out badly.
Never fiat my friend, always holding, I will sell half of my litecoins when It reaches 200$ each, other half when It reaches 300$+
Why not just buy Bitcoin and relax? Litecoin is a copy cat and just trying to steal BTC's shine. Sure it's a good testnet for BTC but that's it.

This is a good sign of a believer, lol. Is the hodl of your bitcoin still there or not? how much did you invest in LTC back then and how much it valued right now? if what you have said that you can buy a 10 apartment then it means that your $42,000 becomes $420,000?

I think if you would buy a Litecoin maybe the time is right now but in my opinion if you also want to buy some bitcoins maybe you just have to wait until its value will decrease by this month or in September because I think bitcoin will decrease again. I like your post 3 years ago it is really a good decision to hold your cryptos by that time you really inspired a lot of investors and the future people who will engage in the crypto currency world.

Yes that is really increasing with a good speed. I am also going to buy some litecoins and I will hold them for a longer time. I have a few coins at the time when the price was very low and now I am thinking that why not I bought at that time. But still it is good time to buy some coins. ok good for you, but you don't need to repeat it in multiple comments
and it sometimes is so much better if you are more active in trading altcoins, rather than just buy and hold. that way you are also reducing the risk while maximizing the profit. for example selling yesterday on top could have meant a nice little profit to buy back more after it fell.

i am sure that the OP have a big smile right now because what he's invest is really worth today. his litecoin and bitcoin become expensive and if he sell right now, he should be a rich person in his city. i am glad to know that one person can really make money for being a hodler for a long time and its inspire me to do the same with my bitcoin and litecoins. its too bad that i know crypto currency in 2015 and i started with no money at all but now, i am glad that i can earn money for myself.
