Probably the most undervalued coin is HIVE. It is rising so quick right now, because the idea and the team is so good and they are making their promises. Check it out, it won’t waste your time!
But other picks are:
-Iota
-Ripple
-Eos

The first pick is HVN,HVN!!!!

New year is fast approaching.
If you had to pick 5 alts that you would hold for a year what would they be?
My picks are:
Iota
Neo
Ada
Lisk
Req

I am sorry dude but if you haven't bought RPX then just go for it.. right now its around .06$ and in 2018 it would be around 1$ so belive me buy while you can. just research the team the already working company or the bloomberg partnership or maybe the partnership with 17 fortune 500 company. check it out red pulse

And also an intresting ico is HDAC... Partnered by Hyundai and will have it own blockchain.

I dont have 5 coins to hodl, just 3 but they are best for me.

1. NEBLIO - It's a blockchain platform, people build decentralized applications on them.
2. ONION - DeepOnion is an anonymous cryptocurrency that is natively integrated with the TOR network. I think ONION will beat DASH and XMR
3. OXY - Buy crypto currency with fiat.

Summing up the recent altcoins bull run, I would like to care about Iota, verge, Electroneum, Ripple, Quanstamp. You, wouldn't be surprised if IOTA and Electroneum made a bullrun soon, but these I listed are mostly for long term holds.

There are sleeping giants out there. NEM for example is one investment that in my opinion should be in every crypto portfolio. Plus you should also include Bitcoin and Ethereum as key holdings. My "core" portfolio would have BTC, ETH, LTC, NEO, NEM, WAVES, MIOTA, ICX, WAN, AION, ZLQ, EOS. Not restricted to five though.

Is it worth buying a NEO., to hold for a year? I see that it has great prospects, + China, but I'm scared.

1.WAVES
2.NEO
3.ETH
4.PBT
5.LTC

Number 4 is a waves based asset which raised 3.000 bitcoins during their token sale. Its price will go up I believe. Waves will be my number one here, they are doing much to show the supremacy of its platform.

Sorry, but i will put out Iota from the list, what is it Req coins? I don't have any idea about it. For me, i'll adds Stellar, Ripple, Ion and DigiByte into the list.
Stellar has been steady increasing, the bull has giving much pressure to break the market point.
Ion, this is an expectation, in last 10 days, price going rocketing and has been reach $2.5 now.
These coins has showing good point in market trading for several days, can consider to HODL those.

Ethereum for me, can be all 5 in that top 5 list. With the problems with ethereum getting sorted out, surely its value and fame in 2018 would blow up like bitcoin, not close to bitcoin's value though, but you get the point.

The market is currently become unpredictable. So many altcoins coming in and so many investors with different styles. I would add Ripple to that list.
