I don't guess so, china will still try to relocate the illegal fundings, after the ban chinese investors are sending money to other countries and then buying back the crytos via another route, no matter chinese govt will take action and stop them soon.

I think you should invest long term in 5 altcoins: MCO, ETH, DASH, NEO, XMR because these are all potential markets and have been very high prices in the last few months. These 5 altcoin always have international supporters and potential investors
in my opinion stratis, wave, sia, xrp and xmr are good for long term.
lol let's get to the 2018 first. Crypto being the way it is, as in everything happens 100x faster than in legacy markets, and people having shorter attention spans than a goldfish on crack, I don't know if making predictions about 2018 is that beneficial. But just like everyone, I have my long term coins that I just hodl for the potential epicness in the future. DCR and ZEC and whatnot
The altcoin that I think has a good potential in 2018 is Bitcoin, Etherum, and Waves, of which these 3 coin are widely used as their payment paltform project, in addition to short ARK, Litecoin is also good too.

I see only Monero as a possible good hedge against Bitcoin. But I think the marketcap is a bit high already.

People says at this situation it's too risk for investment. But I don't think like that. I think this is best opportunity to buy some altcoin and hold it for couple of years. In my opinion if want to hold for a year then you can invest your money btc, eth, bch, xrp. Those coin are really good for long term investment.
