On the ETH, make a profit and partially transfer to other promising coins such as waves or neo. There are a lot of top and quite popular directions for investing, therefore, problems should not arise with this. 
If I had 5 ETH to invest then I would definitely choose to invest in upcoming projects, Pre-ICO/ICO by doing deep research on project background and the team.

I would recommend to invest into some security token projects and avoiding equity token based stuff.And make sure to hold at least 50% in BTC/ETH.
i think if you want to invest for long term, then using 5 ETH is enough although it is not too much, we just have to find a really good altcoin that will be worthy in the future. i suggest you should choose ADA or NEO, they are the most mentioned about the altcoins that have potential to be the best in the future. So rightnow they maybe weak but i can sure they can be the most popular altcoins .
If i have 5eth means i would ready to hold for long term because the price of eth will increase rapidly within two or three years. And also another chance is to invest in different projects which will give more profits. Ethereum is also one of the high potential and promising coins in the coinmarketcap. If eth goes high means invest again in ethereum will give more profit. Other coins such as neo, waves, ripple are also good to invest. Invest in these coins are also gives much value in future.

If I were you just hold eth for 2 years and I am pretty sure you gain profit from it . If also I am not mistaken ethereum will having staking option where you will only hold your ethereum and get profit profit from just holding it .

I will dispose a percentage of ETH, and buy about 5 or 10 stakes of other cryptocurrencies. The way you are now, you can maximize your earning potential by expanding your portfolio. Instead of earning from pigs, make a barn and raise some chicken, goat and cows as well. In this scenario, you won't be needing to wait for 2 years to earn. You will basically be waiting for what will happen to cryptocurrencies within this year. If you happen to hold at least 5 of other cryptocurrencies and their price skyrockets, you'll greatly be rewarded. Think of it carefully. Because right now, the price of other cryptocurrencies are relatively low. That gives you an advantage, with an almost insignificant risk of loss.

I better to hold ethereum myself for the long term, because now this ethereum has high long-term potential. with the time that few years I think ethereum will definitely keep increasing for the price.

If I have 5 ETH I will do a in depth research for ongoing or upcoming ICOs. I will consider factors such as sustainability of the project/company, whether it really delivers a valuable service/outcome, will there be a demand for their tokens in the future, whether the team has experience and qualifications to handle the project, whether token/ICO price is reasonable etc.

if i have 5 eth then it is quite eth resistant for long time or hold 4 eth and 1 eth to buy other altcoin like litecoin, or in play for short strolls i think 1 eth to buy helbiz because hbz is in growth and will enter the top 10 market I think it would be much more profitable.

if for myself I will keep in Ethereum for me save, for example I will invest to buy another altcoin, that is only part of it, and I will buy NEO WAVES XRP and XLM which I think this coin is also good for us to buy and we save in the next two years.
I would hold 60% in Ethereum and I would spread the other 40% into some great altcoins. One of my favorites right now is SENT, they are doing great work and the marketcap is still very low. I think it is one of the projects that are still fyling under the radar.
depending on which one gives the most profit, no matter what coin I invest it either ETH ADA XLM NEO XRP of course we will analyze where the coin gives the biggest profit, because the main purpose of investing is to get as much profit as possible.
I think you should wait a bit. After the ETH rise, the prices of other coins will drop. it's better if you invest in this opportunity. you have to choose projects that adapt to the technological development of the future vision. You have to share 5 projects equally.

I would keep 3 eth and buy another coins with 2 ETH. Another coins are like iota BNB ripple. 
Think about investing in Rpx or Apex. These are two very promising projects on the neo platform. At RPX 3 quarter planned large events.
if I have 5 ETH then in two years, I will invest on BTC and some I will buy BCH and ETH, and most likely I just that I invested, because the lack of knowledge about new coins, so I prefer to invest in old and definitely reliable coins like Btc, eth, and bch
