I would be in your place to invest $ 100 in 5 top altcoins in the long run!
I think this amount is better divided between ETH and BTC, because this is a less risky option and you can easily get a profit by the end of the year.
I would recommend dividing this sum into five parts and investing in undervalued coins for example, ETH, EOS, ADA, TRX and NEO. You can also invest in some altcoins from the top 100.

If I had 500 dollars right now, I do not think I would invest in a single coin. I would divide the money into parts, maybe equal, maybe not and then spread it out to invest in more than a coin. My choice of coin would be from Tron, OrganicToken, Monero and LindaCOin.

I think you just need to look at the top 10 altcoins and choose a few coins that are worth investing in. For example of altcoins, I would advise the Ethereum, EOS, ADA and Ripple. Also I think you should invest in Bitcoin.
