start reading whitepapers,roadmap and the vision of each coin and im sure you wont get confused to which is which coin to invest.
I would advise investing in the ADA for a long time. Now this coin is worth less than $ 1, but I think in a year the price will grow several times.

It depends really what your risk level appetite is?
For low risk, my suggestion is to look at top 20 market cap and pick 1 or 2 coins to invest in such as EOS, XLM or ETH.
For high risk, you may want to consider ICO projects I think a very promising one right now is Cardstack and also ShareRing.

I prefer small investments around 100$ if I buy coin at first. But I have a few of my favourite so I think it’s good amount

I suggest to you to use $250-$300 for buy tron or ada or xvg and then hold it for a long-term. I think this three coins will increase in the long run and while the price still cheap, you can buy much amount of that coin. and you can use the rest of $500 which is $250-$200 to trade another coin. you can use daily trading or weekly trading and don't force to make a profit in daily if you think the situations are not good for you to trade.

I think you have enough knowledge about your current ranking investment. even more so if for altcoin that has popularity. it's best to invest in a cheaper altcoin below $ 1. and I think there are many options that can be profitable in the next few months. the problem is looking for a potentially good altcoin
