If you have managed to make 10 cards working then you should try at least to modify the bios of one card if all RX570 are same brand and same memory. If it works well and you can make it go up to 29 mhash then go and modify all the cards because it adds up quite some , up to 80 Mhash more or about 0.00055 btc more per day which is not bad with the actual bitcoin price.

Great news for such limit to be removed.

Windows 10 fall creators update(1709) + AMD driver for Fall creators update v17.40

Tested with 10x  RX 570 . Working good all 10 cards.

But no Dag Fix in new amd driver. each card 21-22 Mhs only.

Would you mind taking a screenshot that shows both the device manager with 10 GPUs and claymore mining with those 10 GPUs?

Also, have you tried the blockchain driver with 1709?

So, I read through the thread but still can't seem to say I found anyone actually confirming this is the case yet. Even if it only supports Nvidia cards atm, I would be interested in someone who has actually ran more than 10 cards successfully on the new version of Windows chime in.
I've managed to install all of my 11 cards:
 - 4 x 1070
 - 2 x 1050ti
 - 5 x 1060 6GB

I'm using Win 10 Pro, changed to Gen 1 because after card No.8 Windows wouldn't boot using Gen 2. I'm using Claymore Dual miner 10.0, no problems so far except MSI Afterburner is not working and Nvidia-smi wouldn't let me change the clocks of the cards.

Have you tried Nvidia Inspector to overclock?

Quick update: tried reinstalling all the drivers, still no luck though. Max 8 cards of the same spec. Btw I'm running W10 Home edition, maybe it works on W10 Pro?

This is the setup where i use 10 cards;
7x 1070
2x 1060 3gb
1x 1060 6gb.

If i add another 1070 card, that card will not install in windows, same thing if i remove the three 1060 cards, the last 1070 card still wont install on windows(Works fine in another computer). Maybe there is a limit for the same type of cards? I dont know. Before latest windows update, i was only able to use 8 Cards of NVIDIA no mather what mixups where used.

I use W10 Pro. 8GB of memory and G3950 CPU and Asrock Pro BTC+

That's the Relive driver release, which don't include the blockchain driver fix. The driver that ships with v1709 also works (didn't test if it removes the limit), but doesn't have the Dag fix and the blockchain drivers cause the Windows UI to be unstable, so hopefully AMD will update the blockchain driver for v1709 as well.

I just told you it has blockchain drivers in it...

Saying it does and confirming it does are two different things. The release notes for the beta Relive drivers don't say anything about including the blockchain drivers.

That's good point, there might be the difference too.

So who will test that? Everybody was exciting from mining mobos with 10+ PCI-E and bought them, seems like actually nobody have them Cheesy

I only have 7 580's so I can't say if 8 card limit on Windows is Removed but I installed 1709 and the drivers dropped the cards dropped to 24MH. Some things I found:
- Using Autologin my start button and action center do not work
- Task manager now shows GPU stats on the perf tab, all 7 GPUs are there which is neat
- I had to DDU a few times to get block chain drivers to stick, Windows kept auto installing even when set not to, I finally set with GPO, not sure it that was needed but it is working now
- I cannot shut down the computer anymore even with power button, it just bounces back to logon screen, restart works fine

Has been completely stable mining 24 hours now

Just did the update, but w10 still becomes unresponsive and the miners crash when installing the 9th card.
I'm going to remove all the drivers and start installing them manually again one by one. (13x1080ti)
