It seems to me that the scam of projects is less than 80%.  A lot of not successful projects.  And very few projects that achieve soft cap.

I think most ICOs are NOT scams, they are just too ambitious and overestimate their capability to deliver roadmap milestones. After they fail to meet deadlines, people immediately start calling them a scam. The thing with development is that many factors and unpredictable obstacles can delay a project by months (look at Stratis for ex).

Running away with other people's money is not that easy. Most ICOs are transparent when it comes to teams..they have verifable Linked profiles and scammed users can find ways to locate them wherever they are in the world. What I'm trying to say is that there are scams and then there are just plain bad ICOs. 80% of ICOs ARE bad nowdays, but not every one of them is a scam.
You correctly specified, it is really so. When investing, there is always the risk of remaining without the money that you invested in the project, but it will be really hard for scammers to hide with money, because they may be behind bars. Therefore, for them, this is also a big risk.

I don't agree with you , 80% is too much . I'm more inclined to 40 % ...

I think 80% is very much, in reality about 30%, but even this figure is quite large. It is necessary to study the project very well before joining it, so it is also good to follow the progress of the ico, so that in case of poor pre-sale fees, do not waste your time on this project.

I often select ico projects, as well as bounty companies and confirm, unfortunately, this statistics. Many projects do not reach the exchange

The reality is going to be like that when ICO scam happens you have to accept the fact, so am here learn of experience. The role of a campaign manager determines the quality of ICO, so in conclusion look for a good manager when following an ICO

I don't think that 80%  of ICO is a scam. Base on my experience  almost all of the ICO that I have joined in are on the exchange right now having a positive price percentage.

Say you rights. Because my sir completed huge bounty but not get payment. On the other hand  all coin lost it,s own value for this reason new coin not lunch market.
Although bitcoin value day by day decrease but people  sell coin less value. So their have less possibility for profit.

I cannot say that 80% of ICO s are scam because it is my first time to enter this campaign and I hope I  cannot encounter this kind of situation because I fell so sad.

Mostly ICOs are scams and its hard to identify which is genuine..but We cannot avoid the scam and failed ICO..Make a research  first about the project and Try to check the ICO's team or the developer.. we should aware if joining ICOs..Choose wisely

I think it is time we all stopped using general numbers pulled out of thin air like this. Personally, I think only a few ICOs are true scams where they only set out to steal money and run. But I admit many other ICOs are only interested in taking money, you can see from so many projects that fail to reach soft cap or hard cap and then return money. Why would they do that if they really had an idea and were serious?

If I had an idea and only got 10 dollars I would still run it. I respect those that even continued when no money was raised. These were the real deals.

It is very unfortunate but it is a fact. The scam ICOs are even growing in numbers compared to the past years. Conducting an ICO is easier than traditional crowdfunding that's why it is a target of many scammers. I hope this will be regulated accordingly.
