can anyone upload the current blockchain files. I can't sync anymore in ubuntu, no matter what I get stuck somewhere.

Any word on the new wallet? We really need work done to reduce the massive amount of resources it takes. Seems to need to re-org a lot and takes mega resources to do so, rendering most wallets unusable.
The chain also seems to periodically get stuck.
Is there ANY progress being made?

i dunno if its dead but fuck it i waited a week to make the wallet sync (after almost become mentally ill with the windows wallet) and i m keeping it online

even if you download it windows wallet has problem. it doesnt sync or stay synced. believe me i ve tried many times during the past two months.
in linux though, it takes a bit to sync but it works perfect. staking and everything.
its a bit tricky to make a mn at linux but people here are really helpful. you can actually find all the infos in the last 4 pages (or something like that)

I had 4GB and 6 GB of swap, than I added 2GB more of ram.

That usually means it ran out of memory. Try restarting and adding more memory. I find it's hard to run with under 2 GB of memory and it really likes 4 GB to run smoothly.
