There is an exception to this, we can categorically say 99% of all airdrop are scam, there are some valid airdrop and you'll get your reward

I have stopped doing airdrop long ago, since i had a bad experience, I stopped the airdrop, I join an airdrop by filling some form, after that, I keep getting fake emails about token claim and they require me to put my private key to claim. Since then i stop joining airdrop.

I have long ceased to take part in Airdrop, according to my observations now 1 out of 10 only pays, the rest are just frank scammers

I took part in a few airdrop events and my experience was negative: most didn't pay me, and the rewards from a few people who sent me the rewards were of little value. In my opinion, it would be better to choose to participate in the reward activities, but they want higher, but at the very least, they have to pay the price.

It's no secret that with the help of airdrops people are stuffed with telegram channels and chats.

I have participated in most airdrops, but not all of them are scams. Have recieved about 70%  tokens of the airdrops i participated in. So i guess 99% of airdrops been scams is too huge.

AIRDROPS aren't trustworthy in collecting coins they have very less value and sometimes nill spending time and working for long-term is waste of time better to do bounties in that  place

all in different ways, some 99% of the scam, some 99% will take it with profit, but for me the airdrop really became a disappointment, as all my airdrops did not succeed, or but if it was paid, it was an empty token.

I do not think that 99% of airdrop is a scam. there are still some valuable airdrop. But now it has a little airdrop that is worth. Most of today's airdrops are now worthless.

It does not seem 99%, but it's mostly just a false promise. How could Airdrop be shared with participants unlimited. I think most of it already does not make sense, so there's no reason to participate.

I follow some, and they do not deliver according to what is promised. Airdrop participants must make a deposit to get Airdrop. For me this has included scams.

Exactly, 99% of all airdrops are scams in 2018, but in 2017 there were still many airdrops are real airdrops not scams, such as REBL, blue, ACC, etc. But 2018 is the year that the airdrop died.

If so much airdrops are scam is the proof that airdrops have an earning potential.
Scammers are not interested in "things" without a real earning potential.
Scam systems are only possible if they are based on working systems.

For exemple:
Why have ponzi shemes so much success by scammers?
Because a ponzi sheme is not scam but used by scammer.

Most of people are not able to make the difference between real systems and scams.
As soon something makes zero profit or lost the say:SCAM

You have a point there. I too think that many projects which people call scam in the end, were not designed as scam projects from the very beginning. That's why it's very important to research about the team behind, whether they were successful in the past. Of course there are exceptions, but in most cases an inexperienced team can't deliver a good one, however truly they believe in the cost-effectiveness of their enterprise and however hard they try.

I also join to people who say that this doesn't worth to try Airdrops. I have no bad experience but a lot of my friends had bad experience! So i wouldn't recommend it but only your choose.

The title of the thread was simply emphasizing that Most of the Airdrops are Scam specially nowadays!
The trending now is KYC for such airdrops  that started from investing then bounty and i don't know what's  next!

How did you arrive at the 99% number? Even if it's an airdrop, I still DYOR.

From my experience, I have 5 out of 10 airdrops that made it to market - so 50% for me.

I guess it's still part of the crypto landscape as it's unregulated.

That's because you do not know how to find and evaluate good ICO projects.I still have a monthly income from doing bounty airdrop.

Indeed, the year 2018 started badly for airdrops. Many do not pay tokens simply by deceiving people. And it is true that the last worthy airdrop, which brought good profits, was Polymath.

Yes I have tried not getting paid. But I don't consider most airdrops as scams. Maybe it is true that they do not pay because they might have experienced loses in the company's investments. But I don't really think that airdrop are really profitable given that only small amounts of tokens are given.

It is true that most airdrops are a complete scam, have participated a lot over the past few months, but haven't got much rewards, only a few of them have given a few tokens which is not worth much.
