Yes, of course. For example Swiss alps mining or Xera bounty are silent after the end of bounty. Bounty hunters do not know if they could change their signatures, if they receive payment or what?

I agree with this. telegram is one of the most used community channel for all project community, for the team, developer, investors, bounty and airdrop hunters, and more. And if there is no update, it is very important for us to warn about this, update always about the projects.

Arent they updating you all in telegram while the bounty is ongoing?
The very least you could do is save yourself from wastimg time and effort doing the job they require. A week or a month of no update is good enough to consider they are a scam.
Also by checking how much funds they have accumulated is a must. If it is low or impossible to reach the soft cap then get out of it.

I have experienced this. I once joined a bounty campaign and a gift telegraph channel they could not access anymore. and it turned out that the campaign was a gift of a scam.

Well thats true if the telegram group is quite its a sign that the project is a fraud. Active member or admin is a good sign the project growing bigger better then ever before. Just dont miss any good information from the group.

If the channel is not gonna actively handle that means the team behind the project is not actively handling the project. And nowadays most of the similar cases have already come out.

Try to ask for help in official telegram channel, sometimes just the bounty manager don't talk to much but he have complete the spreadsheet, tokens distribution events date is control by project owner, I don't care the bounty channel, just make sure the official channel is active.

if the telegram channel is no longer active, I'm not sure the project is still running, indeed we often find projects like that lately. if the project is so, you better go out or contact the developers directly.

You are just talking about one of the obvious sign of future scam. There are many similar things are available to identify that who are all going to pay you and who are all may run away by keep on informing you that "ICO is just extended and keep working for some more time". In an ICO, everything should be as per plan and should be informed well in advance otherwise we can go for suspecting them. The exception should be like this, the changes to already planned things should be announced in right time with proper reason.Maybe it is major part that can destroy the project or in other hand every one if the team leave the project. No update means no progress.
Yes, it will lead to destroy the project like it will be leading for earning bad reputation among the crypto community. Twitter for announcing own updates whereas telegram/discord channels are for interactive platform for having update. If they are silent, that will end up in scam in 99% of the cases. The behavior of the team of being irresponsible to update the community in the project is really a sign that there is something going wrong that they didn't want to let the community knows. Maybe it is major part that can destroy the project or in other hand every one if the team leave the project. No update means no progress.

I agree with you. Bounty telegram channels normally provide information about the activities in the bounty campaign. If the channel is not anymore managed, who else would update the participants about information relating their bounty and answers the inquiries of participants? I too joined Excolony but decided to go out as the channel does not update anymore.

I experienced the same thing with you. and it makes it tired to wait until I ignore it. I think we need a regulation that can be a protector for bounty hunters. and paid managers must always update every news about it, so that every effort we have made is not in vain
that's just now bakkt now begin to regulate futures a bit, prices change, then we will see only real projects. And this period just forget.

So the absence of updates and presence is one of the sure sign of failed or scam project, this is something I will always remember I have been to a lot of telegram that is empty and the bounty is running, this is a bad sign indeed and every bounty hunters should take this seriously.

yes, some of the bounties that I have participated in have not been paid until now. there are even more than a year, I don't really hope for all of that, especially in situations like this. so yes we must be careful to look for the truly consistent to pay. especially working with competent managers

I've also experienced the same thing, when we entered the bounty and the main telegram that we followed from the start as a general rule. Apparently the admin was never active and communicating to give further news about the development of the bounty. From this experience, do not repeat it for the next, because it will only waste our time in vain. Let us take this valuable experience and hope it will not happen again when participating in the bounty.

Usually a telegram channel is a place where you can get all the latest news about the project. If there is no activity in the telegram or there has not been anything written for several days, and also if there is a lot of spam that no one removes, then this is always a sign that something is wrong with the project.

I always participate in the bounty of campaigns with well-known managers, so I know that I won't have the same situation as you. But there is another problem that most bounty managers only know the team through Telegram, they do not meet in real life. If the project team cuts in contact with the bounty manager, the bounty hunter will have a big problem

Telegram channel is where people update information. But this is telegram channel for bounty so it doesn't matter. It is a place to solve problems for bounty hunters and managers often operate very little on it. So that is not a warning signal

Yes we can say it is a sign that something is not right in the bounty because when admin is not active there is no use to continue such bounties and we should not work for that bounty because there would be higher chance that you won't get paid in the end.
