This is really not something new. Have you heard of the Tulip Mania? This is something similar.

The Dutch Golden Age

And the invention of advanced money laundering

Some people (well, most of them) playing CS:GO are pure morons, kinda stupid, and ready to buy all that shit.

It would suggest they are fairly smart to coin up such an advanced

money laundering system while brushing up on ur headshots

How could they do money laundering using that ? Money can't be withdrawn of Steam.

No but u need to explain how u spent ur 55k and why ur whole

steam team was up for 6 weeks straight playing CS

 Cheesy

I have no Steam team. What are you talking about ? I've never completely understood your posts. You're a kind of new Nostradamus Tongue...

How people can be stupid like this really hard to believe on that kind of foolish stories, $55,000 spent on a digital item and i believe buyer was drunk at that time or it is self buy item maybe that is easiest way to get publicity with that kind of trick.

I wasn't shocked after reading this. There are tons of CS:GO fans/players out there. They don't actually mind buying an item there that costs a lot simply because they know that they can sell it one day especially if that item is limited. These kind of items are just like the items in the real world which you can sell it after a long time. You just hold on to it for a long time and then if the item is on demand and you put it in auction, then surely your money will double or even triple.

Wow! He or she must be a game addict. Spending money this much for a game accessory is crazy. He must be very rich. I wish I was the seller. Smiley
yeah there are a lot of people who actually spend that much money on the games as they want to get full collections or something like that though i doubt its worth the money and efforts

i would never buy such an item for so much money in my opinion, first of all i wouldnt have anywhere to use it as i dont play that game and secondly i need more money for a living

He maybe has too much money he doesn't know how to spend, so he buy such very very unimportant thing.

I think it's bettee to buy foods than this virtual skin  Grin

The thing is the money being transferred is real money and  the goods purchased

in know way can amount to this physical value but hey when even ur French Poodle

wants to launder money and he has his eyes on a plush pad in second life.

I guess the size of transaction didn't warrant a

How about dota items? Even though the items isn't as expensive as cs:go items, there are many player who would spend money for arcana, sets or other else.
This year, dota 2 already collect 8 million dollars alone from TI 6 and battle pass event Roll Eyes

It just only means that he is a fanatic player of cs go. Spending thousands of dollar for a digital item proves that he is truly rich and at the same time a really weird guy on other people perspective.
Looks like to boast on other cs go player is worth $55,000 for him Shocked
