No matter how many times you read books and attend seminars that are related to cypto, if you dont use what you just learned then you wasted 2your time in attending seminars. Nothing beats gaining knowledge through first hand experience. Your mistakes will be you guide so that you will never commit the same mistake again.
Just attending the seminars or reading various books would not give you that good knowledge. You must have your self will to start learning new things and also you should be capable to learn from your mistakes. There is no individual on this entire planet who might not make any mistakes but what matters the most is that you should try to learn from those mistakes and try not to do the same mistake again. This would teach you a lot of new things and also you would be able to properly manage your risk if you had any major loss in the past.

Never demotivate yourself from the loss you faced but treat it like a paid course which would give you a ample of knowledge as well as some experience which would be most important.

Application of what you have learned through books and other resources online is the best thing that could help you grow as a trader. It's important that you'll know how to deal with every market situation by applying the things that you have watched and read. Having the eagerness to learn things about trading regularly will also be a big help.

But this shouldn't let you discredit the fact that reading from books that teaches you how to trade along with attending seminars for trading can give you quite the insight on how to take care on your trading journey, be it cryptocurrencies or stocks. It is up to the person if the information and knowledge he acquired will be something that he'll put up to the test or he'll let it stagnate within him. I believe that gaining first-hand experience gives you the insights for the process while second-hand information gives you the knowledge you need on your journey. They are as important as each other. What matters at the end of the day is execution, how this person was able to provide results and what took him to get to that level.

I didn't get this thing that whether you were trying to help us know about such book or you were endorsing about it? /jk

Anyways, I think that people are lazy enough to take time to read even a 100 pages book, then this one is a thousand-pager. Nobody will understand the true concept behind the book if they don't read it fully and that complete reading happens in very rare cases where the reader has some interest in that field, else noobs should not even look for these. Another thing is, I prefer experience over reading and attending any seminars at a certain age. With that said, I had a reason I'd like to share - your experience as a child may be small but being an adult, you can learn a lot on your own. I know that mistakes should not take place in these things but without mistakes, you won't learn and experience what to do and what not to do. Reading experience is of some time while your real life experience that you enjoy, remains forever with you. Trading is a tough job, and crypto trading is even tougher.

In my opinion, reading books are essential to increase your knowledge in any domain not just trading, but it is not easy to pick the best books for newbies, maybe some professional traders can help you for that. Furthermore, reading books is just the first step to success in trading, so there are more necessary steps, you should learn how to read the  charts well, the market is always volatile, so you need to be active about that. Don't forget about making a different plans or strategies for the all situations.
About the books, try to read these ones:
Cryptocurrency beginners bible.
The bitcoin strandard.
How money got free.

Reading books could also be of big help and we can still be getting ideas from it but the problem is, some of them are outdated means that, it is good to go for online tutorials that are updated. Because when you are in trading, you can't rely upon into one thing but rather to gather ideas from different sources in order to evaluate what it more effective or less effective.

It is truly said that books are our best friends. Books can really give us a ample of knowledge. You should try to buy the book rather than reading 1033 pages on the desktop as this might even affect your eyes. Books make us gain huge knowledge and also we come across a number of new words which would enlarge our English efficiency.

Usually, chart patterns and oscillators are similar in both the markets, centralized(stock/forex) as well as decentralized(cryptos) and once you understand about the charts and patterns you could really make some good progress with trading and it could also serve you as a secondary source of income. I personally love to read new books and I would soon order this one once I get some free time.

Trading tutorial is effective than books. Reading only books than will start crypto trading both of a lot of different things.
I have a book Crypto Currency Trading and Investing, i just bought this one to learn cryptocurrencies trading
Though i think it difficult to know everything just reading books, You can learn and easy to understand so fast when you following demo trade practice.
Books actually were the only medium to gain some knowledge in the past but in present, we have a lot of other platforms which makes gaining knowledge more easier for us. Video tutorials as you stated are among those platforms which would make you grasp knowledge much quickly in minimum time and experiencing trades in real life would make us gain some huge experience which would be most useful for us in the coming times. But, if you combine all of these platforms than you could really boost your knowledge and make huge progress.

For example, you could continue watching various video tutorials along with the book and try going through both of them. Than you could move onto demo trading with the knowledge you gained and try practicing for real.

Recently i´ve got a indication of a book: Encyclopedia of chart patterns (second edition). This book is realy good, but it has many pages (1033). The book was initially designed for the Stock Market, but you can still use the book to trade with bitcoin. The book is available on Amazon and on the internet (pdf for free). I particularly downloaded the pdf but I intend to buy the book soon. I recommend an intermediate-advanced level of English and a certain experience in trade to understand the book well.

Thanks for informative book but there is no alternative of field trading experience. when you face in front of your eyes every trading you will be more experienced and besides this when you include books knowledge you will be more powerful one in trading. So be practical and be gainer.

best of luck.

when you read tutorials or guide you might expect something or do something a little bit off than what the book really meant to say to you because its only pure text but when you try video tutorials you'll have higher chance of getting and learning trading quickly. Also showing or seeing what you should focus on the charts is very important part of tutorial and nothing beats video guides in that but i am not against books, books is also useful specially when you don't have internet, its just you settle for more.
Video tutorials might be a best option for those commodities which keeps on updating. Charts and patterns are something which are constant without any change since years and a book could really make us understand those patterns more closely with some images as well. Usually, we could find a number of videos on youtube giving a detailed guide about such patterns but I individually found least of those videos useful.

But instead, I could gain huge knowledge just by reading books. Also once we read any book, that books automatically gets stored in our unconscious brain which would be recalled once needed and this really makes me much close to the patterns as I could understand the patterns without any complications. Also the book would always be with me for further clarifications so I would love reading the book stated by OP.

Books are good for increasing knowledge if we want to read them, I like reading books, but now that online learning how to trade can be found when we type keywords, I learn how to trade by reading the experiences of traders and their strategies online. This also added to my knowledge and I applied it.
Reading books is entertaining and useful because it will also help you enhance your understanding but with the use of technology everything is much convenient which means you can easily get a copy of a book by a simple search. Learning online is less hassle but you can't literally assure that every content that you will be seeing is legit. Just like you, i'm also into books because its fun especially during your leisure time. Learning from the experiences of others can also be beneficial because you can be aware of the possible problems or challenges that you may encounter as you continue your trading journey. Their story will guide you like on avoiding doing the same mistake because they will make you realize how hard it is to overcome such problems. Anyway, i'll look forward reading this book because I know it will enlighten me about various of things about trading.

Trading is such an essential thing in this virtual world. For us to earn so much many in this virtual world, we do trading to lessen the fee when we are going to withdraw the money. Some tips for trading is to learn some different currency, you can research it, or you may read some books that offer some strategy about trading. One of the books that I have read is the book "The disciplined trader", I have learned so many things about that book, it teaches me about the strategy to be a good trader at all, and upon reading the book I realized the importance of any other books, I have so many books in our house, but I have read none of them because I am so tired in reading. Still, when the time that I want to learn some things to be a good trader and read the "The disciplined trader", it affects me to read the book I have in our house, but reading books is not enough, you should also rely on your skills as a person and the experience you have for so many years doing trading.

Recently i´ve got a indication of a book: Encyclopedia of chart patterns (second edition).
Yes, I have seen about the book Encyclopedia, if I'm not mistaken this book was written by Thomas Bulkowski in 2005, at that time I didn't really care about the Encyclopedia book.

After seeing this topic, it is very necessary to have a book (Encyclopedia of chart patterns) to own and learn about trading, analysis, investment and many others.

Interesting to learn if examined the current conditions, where trading is not the same as before, with the guidelines in the book maybe I can arm myself in investing and trading.
With some very optimal points can be taken.

I traded professionally for 10 years, including on the floor of the CME, then for a top prop shop in Chicago. Treasuries, equity index futures, etc, etc. Discretionary, grey box, black box, or with hand signals on the floor. Crypto markets are now trading like volatile futures markets and absolutely exhibit similar behavior. It's all supply & demand at the end of the day.

Tons of great books out there. Theory & practice, like anything else in life, is essential.

1. Preserve your capital. Study risk mgmt.
2. Read the likes if Ed Thorp, Jack Schwager (Market Wizards series), Big Hitters by Kevin Koy, Alpha Masters, Mind Over Markets (Dalton) any Market Profile text.
3. Remove any emotion from trading.  Binary of sorts, like programming. That's not to say you don't use your brain. Most algos or black boxes lack substance because markets change & that requires user input to change.
4. Capital Preservation is KEY!

The biggest advantage an independent trader will always have is the ability to sit on their hands and wait for the right market to trade. Institutional $, and weak/impatient $ will over trade. Trading is not about being right, it's about cutting your losses to trade another day. The aforementioned books all profile the most successful traders over several decades (...Stock Operator cover this as well) all cover the same concepts & principles. Trading cryptocurrencies is no different and frankly, WHEN the SEC opens the door for institutional & retail $$, the likes of Bitcoin will be one of the best instruments to trade, if it isn't already.

Actually, we can find a lot of books and online trading tutorial and it seems to be all of them are quite similar to say. In fact, I only learn trading online and following the steps of successful traders. Only we need to be patient and keep accepting ideas of what some traders may feed on us. We don't need to pretend that we are already know anything because is a certain thing there is still we need to acquire which many traders are not telling by then.

We don't need to be satisfied because we already learn the basic but most importantly is to look away that could help us to farther enhance our trading skill and be successful.

If you are seeing the number of pages as some kind of roadblock right now I don't think that recommending you a new book that contains less number of pages is the ideal solution here. Books are not designed to be read in whole especially if you are a beginner who wants to learn everything since skipping on sections and paragraphs would just make you clueless on understanding everything. If I would be advising you I think what you need to do is just to be motivated to learn and finish a book before you find a new one. Because I think if you find a book boring to learn I don't think you'll be suited enough to learn something from a new book, you'll just find that new book boring the same as the old one.

Most of the trading books that I have read is all about stock market, it is hard to find a book that is all about cryptocurrency. Anyway, the information in the books about stock market is also applicable in cryptocurrency market. There are trading strategies that I learned in stock market that I keep using even if I trade bitcoin. For those who want to buy and read books I prefer you the books of Minervini which is trade like a stock market wizard.
