The price will really depends on which solution will be used to solve the scalability issues and maybe future news about btc getting accepted on some countries.

I too concur with the $4000 prediction, I think we will be lucky at the moment to reach $3500 this year sustained.
It is nice prediction ahead but it will make happens only when other country will implemented bitcoin to there currency or will accept bitcoin to use it from there country this could be the reason of increasing bitcoin price by time to time. Not because your lucky to reach that unless you are holding big coins in your wallet and waiting for the time to happened. My prediction is maybe 4000$ as it has got a 120% or something increase till now , so expecting 100%
more in the remaining years isn't a bad thing , let's just hopenthe best happens to bitcoin
My guess is it will go up to 4000$ in exactly 1 year, well its really hard to predict the value of btc in the future but if the demand of btc increase compared to those who want to sell then its possible to happen.
$4000 seems realistic, but we cannot assure until a price increase same as the past happens creating a sudden growth from $2400 to price close to $3800. If this happens surely there will be a year end price increase, by which can experience $4000.Seems huge but who knows actually im little bit surprise off for the priced reached today and im totally wondering on how much will be the priced per bitcoin if year 2018 will pass or more year to come on it since I am sure that we may witness another breaking record on its history, But for now lets enjoy this current event and continue our good ventures to earn more and gain more profit with bitcoins today.
Indeed 4000 dollars sounds huge, but with bitcoin anything is possible we already saw that in the past. One year in bitcoin world is a lot, next year we will be on a half for next halving, this year we saw many good things for bitcoin and there is 6 more months for other countries to accept bitcoins, this days I`m reading how South Korea is getting more involved I wonder why they been in a dark until now.
There is no realistic price in 1 year, that can be 3000 dollars or 5000 dollars, nobody can say that for sure, we need to wait and see, long term predictions about bitcoin is just that price will go up.

Your guess is as good as anybody's until the time comes that we really know what the exact price would be. A year from now, I am conservatively guessing that the price is at the range of $4,000 to $4,500. If bitcoin was able to double its price in just three months, then it is even more possible for it to double from today's price to twelve months from now.

It may happen if demand is much more than the supply of BTC on market, it seems that there is a possibility of bitcoin price this year at level of $ 4000, but of course it is only a prediction because no one has accurate data about future of bitcoin

Based on what? I would expect rather the reverse situation linked to fear and uncertainty of scaling solution.There will be major dump right before protocol changes will be introduced. Most people would opt to dump BTC in case something will go wrong with scaling upgrade.
Previous price action and Fibonacci extensions. $5000 within 6 months; $10K in one year. The time frame is drawn out because of politics.
I think by looking at the gambling trade and exchange rate the price of bitcoin now being up and down yet stable but I now see the ascending again, maybe for the price of bitcoin till the end of this year will reach about @ 3500, and could likely next year 2018 could reach $4000

But I wouldn't be surprised if the price would start going down significantly to like 1800 dollars till the end of the year, because the price is way too high for this time. Reason can be made easily it all depends if somebody with a full pocket decides to flip his btc to fiat... Maybe there aren't some major improvements on coding side, but I agree with you that price might drop if we look at UASF activation on August 1st. If 2 chains split price will drop drastically until it gets sorted out.
On the other hand Russia is looking into btc, Japan has legalized it, more people are searching about it and are intersted in (mostly because of the profit but still).
People though that 10$ was high at first then that 50$ was high, you never know as all we can do is to speculate the price...
