Investment on bitcoin is growing big from the last 5 months with the price. We see high rate of adoption on bitcoin as well. Therefore, price run will not stop at anywhere. I think in this Christmas we may see 3000$ or even more.

Yes,even i think the price of bitcoin will be slightly over 3000$ and less than 5000$ ,as bitcoin is not adopted in all countries,by 2018 if more countries adopt to bitcoin then the price might even get more than 5000$ ,as this is just a wild guess because you can never estimate the maximum potential of bitcoin,so let's hope for the best!

The point is that you need to be probably a psychic so that you can give real predictions that showed real circumstances in the future of bitcoin prices. But it seems to me that if you trace the parallel between last year a little, you can notice some moments in each water and draw conclusions this year.

In fact I believe that such a growth Bitcoin, which occurred literally in recent periods can be replaced by a fall of almost 2 times. Because the fact is that there are many who want to invest money in Bitcoin but for today at such a price it will be silly So if the price falls Here, then there will be quite real opportunities to make investments in Bitcoin.

$3000 this year very likely. $5000 is a possibility. Waiting for the SegWit thing to be over before making my final decision. I stick with 3000 for now.

I want to say $3000 but then again we may see a huge dump as a result of some countries banning or not supporting bitcoin(such as China). Already their exchanges are cracking down on everything because the central banks demand them to do so and i wouldn't be surprised that chinese won't even be able to trade on p2p platforms like localbitcoins sometime in the future.

But it won't be lower than $2000, that'l all i know.

Personally I believe that bitcoin is going to go around $3500 in a year's time. Around your estimate but slightly lower. I just feel like that there is a lot of positive energy around cryptos at the moment and it's not going to stop any time soon. We might see a lot of panic and dumps before we see another slow bull market though. We might. We'll see what happens and it'll be interesting to dig up this thread in a year's time and see who's right

you must define what kind of prediciton do you want to have, a prediction for a stable value or just predicting the possible the peak

possible peak might be very high in one year, this will be more true if segwit is activated, assuming that the adoption will grow at the same rate as now, another 2x is expected in another year

we went 2x from 500-600 to 1200, we went again 2x now from 1200 to 2400, therefore i can expect a $4800 for the next peak

Threads like this is useless, because Bitcoin adoption is still very small and the smallest event will have a impact on the price. You have seen what happened to the price, when exchanges gets hacked and how political decisions influence the price.

Who would have said a year ago that we would have seen $2700+ per bitcoin in 2017? One thing about Bitcoin is true, it is not predictable in any way. ^smile^

At current trends we can expect a doubling in the next year so just under 5k$, there is of course the possibility of big pumps and dumps making bubbles and crashes but I think the highs and lows will center around 5k$ in a years time

Well a lot thing can happen in a year, but considering some more countries will legalize bitcoin i believe its possible to achieve 4000 dollars into one year if more countries does legalize bitcoin, if the same countries remains, well i would say 3000 dollars.

I can see more than double in value in May 29, 2018 currently price is around 2270+, so I am thinking that price will be around $5540. I believe that price will continue to rise since smart contract will give bitcoin a boost, packaged with Australia and Russia's bitcoin acceptance. These news will give bitcoin a big boost in price.

It is really hard to predict the price of bitcoin in about a year's time. Last year, its hard to predict that we are going to almost touch $3000 price. But for the sake of fun, I will just say that it can probably touch $6000 next year. I hope that I can get it right this time so that we are all going to be happy in about a year. Grin
