Both models have problems. The current capitalist model is dead in the long run as automation deprecates more and more jobs. On the other hand, the RBU model is really naive in thinking people will be happy to not have an advantage over others. We'll see how things develop, the future is extremely blurry.
capitalism will only create anxiety for all because it monopolizes all existing economies, so that over time it will sink by itself. we can see later. for that many countries are avoiding it now

With a decentralized money system it would be harder for corruption to take place inside governments. This, apart from the fact that a world-wide usage of a decentralized money would not only help the world in terms of economy but also in terms of politics is ine of the reasons I support bitcoin and the blockchain technology. As of now it is the only technology out there capable of doing and serving this job in tge future.

I think the resource economy idea is a great one, but let's not be naive, it would require a much different society, what we have right now is simply not good enough. If you put people inside such a society, it would be a catastrophe next day. Unfortunately, we still need a money based system, we'll see in the future. And right now, the best money on the planet is Bitcoin.

people will acquire wealth, and a money will emerge spontaneously. Declaring all earth's resources as common implies in more hunger/crime/war/poverty. If somebody says "money is the problem", they propose reverting to an extremely primitive sort of culture.

Even in the bronze age they had the concept of money, I think. The romans I'm sure they did.
Only a very primitive, aborigine-like society can live without it.It is sad that as a species and a society, we must continually relearn the hard lessons about economics, ponzi schemes and scams such as bitconnect and bitcoin core.

The economic calculation problem is a fiction promulgated by the priests of the economic religion. An attempt to attribute more to a resource or process than there is in reality. When you submit yourself to this false authority of economic theory, then you cannot hope to come to the correct solution to a problem.

times have changed, people used to save money under the pillow that makes people unable to sleep, then there are banks so save unag safer, and before we invest in physical things such as gold, property, stocks and so on, but the current and future trends people will invest on cryptocurrency (non physical), and this is one of resource based economy.

Many sources can be utilized correctly, but unfortunately many governments prefer to sell government assets to the private sector so as to make the poor and suffer, this is certainly the concern of all parties.
We all know what the government wants, they want a stable economic growth and they will do anything to achieve this even if there are people suffering because of this. They think about the majority who will be benefited without thinking about those who are at the bottom class of the society.

It is sad that as a species and a society, we must continually relearn the hard lessons about economics, ponzi schemes and scams such as bitconnect and bitcoin core. It is a reflection of how we are all made ignorant and vulnerable by enduring an education that does not want us to be conscious of the realities of the monetary system, the inherent corruption in our dominant economic and political systems and the resistance to change for the benefit of all people. Hopefully now, with the combination of an honest currency like bitcoin cash and the power of community we can elevate the world to a better place.

Many things we can use to improve the welfare, natural resources in all countries are always enough to make prosperous, but most countries do not have enough capital and human resources so that natural resources are less useful.

Nice, bitcoin was invested as a peer-to-peer digital currency that fast, secure, and decentralized. Due do the bitcoin years of success and adoption by the people bitcoin is now even acceptable worldwide. People can now use bitcoin as digital currency to buy things or store it as a digital store of value.

Bitcoin is considered as a resource base of the economy. Yes it is! Unfortunately, it is not yet to totally accepted by the government all over the world that hinders bitcoin to be used by majority of the population around the world. Since bitcoin had been popularized, a lot of testimonies rose saying how better they are now upon investing in bitcoin.

In a perfect world, this sounds great. In practice, I'm pretty positive it has failed and would fail again. Far too many replies to this thread for me to read but I like the idea of it in theory. I wish it could really work though.. I think crypto could be a great step in the right direction, but also has severe limitations if worldwide connections are severed at any point.

This is not sustainable. It is much better to encourage sustainable growth of living standards through resource. A society with a large population, an active economy, and easy communication over long distances could not plausibly be sustained without money

Bitcoin will ultimately replace money as we know it these days. Whether it will stay as practical as andinvestment as it is these days, is anyone's guess.
