I don't take loans, ask for sig if I ever do.
Well, you can't deny that some people have profited off of pure "hype" in some projects. Just that, it isn't really trading tbf, I'd call it gambling. Well if you were able to enter early on before the hype pumped up, or even in the middle of it, you can still get some sort of sizeable profit BUT if you were one of the last ones, then yea, you'd be crying losing your funds due to hype. Honestly, I'd rather just stay away from influencers and whatnot that talk about what they THINK will happen. I'd rather watch people talk about the meanings and the like, you know, factual information (from a beginners perspective), then do the thinking on my own side instead. Can maybe reference a few others, but that's about it, it stays as a reference.

That's why I don't rely my decisions through influencers or YouTube videos that I've just seen. And as much as I can, I'm now avoiding to watch those videos.

These content creators are making sort of hype with their thumbnails just to make it very encouraging to watch and out of our curiosity, we'll watch them.

It's better to do my own analysis in the fundamentals since I can also do what they're doing about research.

It's not actually wrong to watch influencers or those who called themselves experts on Youtube as long as on our part, we should know what things are really good to execute to do. However, there are people who literally follow everything that these influencers are doing. Not wrong but it should be obvious that results and outputs are different from each other.

Not because we profit from these strategies, everyone will have the same output.

We all have skills in doing DYOR, it just needs improvement.

That is why some videos are not intended to be seen and believed because they only bring us false hopes and when we start believing it, we lost our focus on our own target because we tend to fall from its exaggerating stories. So its a matter on believing and  trusting them, or just stick to your own market analysis because you know you based it from facts and good experiences. There are a lot of videos really in the internet, some can inspire us positively, others are there to give us false hopes and destruct us from our own goal.
Better not to fully rely on videos in internet because most of them are paid advertisement which they do to manipulate people and to mislead those newbies. Its ok to watch if your intention is to learn about trading, but avoid those videos that talks about specific project, they are all advertisement and you’ll learn nothing from them. Having your emotion controls you every time you trade is not good, learn how to trade without it and just base on your own analysis.

Watching youtube is only good to learn TA and usually channels like that have a small following. Cryptoface has been doing lives with trading tho dunno is his thing he uses good, never tried it.

Stop it! That's not true!
I have watched great bitcoin educational content creators that dish out the best content every week and 2 times weekly, the likes of Coin Bureau, Red Panda mining, Bits Be Trippin, and the list continues. They have plenty of subscribers and I must say they are doing very fine especially Coin Bureau is always more of fundamental details than technical and he has about 1.95M subscribers.

If people used their brains a little more, then they wouldn’t waste time on such nonsense, which is really just a waste of time. These people just use what technology allows them to do and make decent money on it, and I wouldn't spend a second of my time watching something like that, even if it's the only thing that can be watched.

The worst of them are those who promote everything they are paid for, regardless of the fact that they know that it will cause direct damage to their viewers. One only has to go back a few years and see how they lied about how Bitcoin came to an end, and that some bitcoin tr(c)ash becomes a new big thing.

They usually end up with thousands of subscribers because they upload what would get them more subscribers, and they constantly complain when Youtube removes their videos. If it weren't for the fact that the purge occasionally affects those who provide excellent content, I would prefer that shadow be added to their video rather than eliminated. We need to tell people what they need to know, not what they want to hear.

Viewers should know how to spot trash videos because a lot of them are indeed paid if they are promoting specific coin or token. But if you find those channels which discuss matter-of-fact about crypto trading, not giving you false hope about earning profits, then, you need to bookmark them. A lot have overwhelming presentation in terms of profit generation because most of them are sponsored. Remember, there are YT bounties out there. So what they do is promote the project to the extent of giving unreasonable returns to trap potential buyers. Be cautious on those videos.

There's a popular trading adage that says you shouldn't trade with emotion since it might lead to wrong decisions about when to buy and sell, but I think there is a worse thing than emotion.
Some YouTube channels are excellent evaluators who will never be biased in their judgments, they will tell you everything, even the fair fundamental and technical aspects of everything you need to hear, but some are so bad that I get irritated when I see their YouTube video thumbnail.
As a trader, you should trade with all of the knowledge you have obtained, your actions and targets should be based on your discoveries, not whether bitcoin will increase by 100x or by a million.

Shillings and hype are good sometimes, they might have their influence on bitcoin/Altcoins growth but I think it's not good to follow their steps because they say it will 100x, they are overdoing it and it doesn't help traders.
Be focused on your own findings and make a clear decision on your trades.

yhup much better to focus on our own way when it comes trading information than relying on some YouTuber because mostly are click bait.

And based on my observation most trading videos in youtube nowadays are not genuine to be honest, i mean most of their contents are not base on their own experience and knowledge, wherein they used yo put a twist on their content only but still very obvious a copy paste information from other professional traders in youtube.

Perhaps they don't care about the real information about trading . and what really important for them are views so that they can make good income from it.

So let's be wise as well who to follow in youtube to obtain exact information.

The worst of such video is that after the end they encourage you to hit the notification button and subscribe lol Grin and this is funny because a trader that is making profit have no time for the little subscription fee. Really if you profit from trading you see alot of cool money that you don't want to cheat other traders and take the little they are struggling to double or increase. This is surely a painful and unfortunate situation that many traders are falling on because they refuse to listen.
All of them are hoping to get that sub which if we do think about common sense then there's no one would be doing that if they are really making that sufficient money and
earning peanuts wouldnt really be that a serious matter to them but instead then you would really be just focusing on what they are doing. Its been part or already rampant
into this market on seeing those kind of shills and hypes which if you arent that good enough on handling out your emotions then you would really be finding this
as a big problem onwards.

I laughed after seeing those thumbnail. lol

Do you know why they always did that thing?
Well, I think these YouTubers are all acquaintances and some of them are friends in real life but who cares?
Anyway, those clickbaits is just too exaggerated that I think they didn't notice they were doing it with pattern although, I think most newbies who are new on their channel might find it amusing but for eff sake they were all doing it just for the views.

I find it boring when I see how long their videos after you finish it watching or just before you watch it because I know it's just all a ton of shit story gimmick that doesn't go straight to the point. It's better to find a worthy long videos if you know who is the person talking and how reputable they are.

[Nope]No hype delivers more than hope
I'm looking at the thumbnails of guys like they're having an orgasm, lol.
Well, I also sometimes look for references to crypto fundamental factors based on the analysis of some random trades on youtube. However, I always avoid channels where the creator explains that it's too passionate because I think it can affect the psyche of the viewer. I also often see some of their video content being deleted a few days later if their predictions are wrong.

I see a lot of thumbnails like that and I just click "Not interested" to it. I read one of those videos and they are like empty can, a lot of words but their analysis is not clear and not on point I suggest watching youtube videos about how to use some analysis and that is much more better since it will add to your knowledge. Though, there are some users that really gives their actual analysis, no elaborating and other bs.

Yes practicality is a way to trade. Use indicators that will guide you into the real and current market situation and condition is the way and not sentiment or emotional construction you have built by yourself, fear or fud. Some traders have believed YouTube channels alot and they can't find time for themselves to study and research a strategy for themselves. YouTube channels are also people who are there to make money from traders, so everything they bring out to your face is not true.

If there's one thing that equates to trading with your emotion, that would be those shitty 10x, 100x thumbnails which are basically your PnL. You see, a lot of people including myself trade their PnL's instead of their technicals, and I admit that's it's the most difficult thing to do.

When you look at and trade your PnL, you get a roller coaster of emotions that impedes your ability to trade your technicals, resulting in incorrect entry and exit. It's not a good idea to enter or exit a trade based on fear or greed. You enter a trade because you see something that validates your directional bias, and you exit a trade because it confirms your invalidation level and the trade is no longer applicable.

Doing this religiously would at least control your decision making.

Be focused on your own findings and make a clear decision on your trades.

As a trader you have to ignore YouTube videos like this and YouTube entirely because it can be very distractive unless you're going to watch some educational videos on trading. This 10x, 100x videos are all useless, there's nothing worth learning in any of them. Shilling has never been good, Bitcoin didn't need it to get to the price it currently is. When a project pumps without any utility or adoption backing it, it usually dumps badly. It did happen to Bitcoin in 2017 as well.

In regards to the title, I don't think it's worst than trading with emotions because for you to fall for the clickbait it still has to do with emotions. Emotional trading is worst as this can make you lose quite more than following some shilling channel. The shilling channel might give some profit and if you're smart, you exit the market and go invest in something more tangible.

If you're on your early stage of trading journey, being emotion is fine and normal because we all have that experience during our early days and I'm confident that you can learn from that experience because for sure you'll lose your money.

It's hard to tell to newbies not to be being emotional, because they don't know how to handle their emotion yet and they need more experience to be able to control that emotion. Newbies should take the process slowly but surely, and do everything to learn how to be more effective on analyzing the market.

Getting too emotion is too risky, you can lose everything for being too careless so if you are a newbie don't do day trading yet, better to trade for long while learning the process.

Yeah I am not a fan of these types of videos either hyping the viewers without any promises or guarantees at all. To be honest, I am kinda “allergic” to these kinds of thumbnails and the entire content despite that they looked funny (which increases clickbait rate to be honest, video SEO stuff).

It’s pure clickbait, especially that they are targeting mostly newbies, beginners and those who are not yet experienced in crypto investing and trading. Nothing is guaranteed here like BTC is going 100x in that certain month or so due to their so-called “technical analysis” stuff or something like that.

It’s better to have a realistic natural kind of content rather than just hyping that doesn’t guarantee or promise at all.
