After Aave announced the launch of the V3 protocol, the price of the token increased by more than 70% in two weeks and the capitalization increased to $3.36 billion.

I would like to hope that after the launch of Aave V3, as the developers promised, the security of the protocol really increased, since it is a cross-chain platform and many well-known DeFi projects already interact with it: ParaSwap, 1inch, Instadapp, DeBank, DeFi Saver, Zapper and Zerion and security is the key issue here

Just in case any of you here expect a refund from Altilly. If you don't have all their deposit confirmation emails, they give you nothing. That's a scam.

Dev's Aave made an announcement of the Lens Protocol which uses smart contracts on the Polygon blockchain, the main purpose of which is to simplify the creation of social platforms based on Web 3.0, by the way, today the cost of the Aave token for some time exceeded $192. It remains to be hoped that this news will help new and existing social platforms to implement blockchain tools in their projects more safely

Aave announces work on a mobile wallet, if it really takes place, it will be, as I think, much more convenient to use your resources directly from it than it is not always safe to connect metamsk with sites for interaction.

With "Aave Pro' debuting for institutional lending Aave price has hit a 3 week high.

The project goes through a very long adventure and 2020 is a year that marks a milestone of this project. This decentralized lending from LEND is very great but the project did not grow too much because of bear market.

2002 when the crypto winter was melted down, and DeFi became a trend, LEND is one of the most impressively performed altcoins.

Institutional lending will help AAVE going to mainstream more intensively.

Aave really spearheaded the explosion of DeFi. It is now an index of to what extent lending and borrowing in crypto space can go and beyond. To top it all Aave continues to innovate and tinker whatever it can do to maximize utilization of its DeFi platform.

April Update: Record growth, liquidity incentives, and governance power distribution

Hello Aave Community!

April was an exciting month full with new governance proposals votes. This excitement was reflected in the Aave Protocol’s growth this month, as the protocol surpassed $14B in market size.

Technical & Development Updates

New scalability frontiers opened up for the protocol, which started with Polygon (formerly Matic), making it easier and cheaper than ever to interact with the protocol. Shortly after, Polygon introduced liquidity mining $MATIC rewards for users depositing and borrowing in the Polygon Aave Market to bootstrap the growth of their ecosystem.

Governance & AIPs

AIP 11: The Aave community approved a proposal to disable new stable loans on Aave v1 and added a condition where stable loans temporarily switch to variable loans if the interest rates reach a high level.

AIP13: The Aave community voted on and approved a proposal to add $renFIL to the Aave liquidity pool, and the following AIP enabled renFIL borrowing.

AIP16: The Aave community approved a liquidity mining proposal from ParaFi to distribute 2200 stkAAVE/day between depositors and borrowers on Aave v2. All Aave v2 users will now have stkAAVE, meaning they can participate in the governance and earn Safety Incentives for securing the protocol.

The Aave Protocol is a decentralised liquidity protocol, which allows users to unlock liquidity across various assets in a multi-pool approach. The new AMM Liquidity Pool enables liquidity providers (“LPs”) of Uniswap and Balancer to use their LP tokens as collateral in the Aave Protocol.
The Rise of AMMs

With the rise of Uniswap in 2018 and the emergence of “Automated Market Makers” (AMMs) in the DeFi ecosystem, users of Ethereum are now able to swap assets without the need for centralised third-party intermediaries. Users are able to facilitate the provision of liquidity and earn fees for doing so.
How do LP tokens work?

By providing liquidity, users automatically obtain LP tokens from the AMM. In most cases, LP tokens represent the crypto assets the user deposited into the AMM along with a proportional scale of the trading fees collected over time in the particular liquidity pool into which the user deposited assets. (Frequently, the LP token represents a 50/50 ratio with ETH and another crypto asset, making them potentially less volatile than their underlying assets.) Because LP tokens typically accrue trading fees over the time the user’s assets remain in the liquidity pool, the LP tokens potentially accrue value over time as well.

AMMs were one of the first ways to earn a passive income in the DeFi ecosystem and remain so today.

A first successful Proof of Concept

Last year, the Aave Protocol developed an “AMM Liquidity Pool” proof of concept with the “Aave Uniswap V1 Market,” which allowed users to deposit Uniswap v1 LP tokens in the Aave Protocol and use them as collateral. Given the community’s interest in this pool, users will now be able to use LP tokens from several AMMs, with proposals and decisions from Aave Governance about which AMM protocols and collateral to add.

The Multi-Market Approach
The AMM Market is the first of many markets of Aave, on Ethereum, and potentially also on different networks, allowing the community to explore “new frontiers” with Aave.

How nice this project is going on I just browsing lately on gecko and I noticed AAVE and I remember its the new ethlend which fortunately I got some LEND tokens last March 2018 from eidoo airdrop in my app and I never expect its worth $200 now tried to migrate from lend to aave but the fees is kinda huge $20 insane I ended up in Uniswap instead of migrating my tokens to aave.

I don't know about this migration process and why you need to pay fees. But I had Lend tokens which I had kept at binance exchange and they did autoswap to Aave. I have not done anything manually.

Aave Protocol migration tool released

The migration tool to upgrade full positions from Aave V1 to Aave V2 is now available to all users! Migrating full positions, even when you have positions opened, is now accessible directly on your V1 dashboard.

Under the hood, the migration tool is powered by Flash Loans and in a single transaction will:
- take liquidity from Aave V2
- use it to pay back your loans in V1
- migrate your V1 collateral to V2
- open up equivalent positions in V2
- bring back the liquidity to V2

I think, this dapp has a bug because I want to repay my borrowed USDT but I get the below error:

Transaction failed with the reason: cannot estimate gas; transaction may fail or may require manual gas limit.

I also paid the $1.6 fee for repayment but when I click on submit I get the above error.
