Pretty interesting, but I think you really need to know a lot about the game to make some money with that.

Not the game itself as you don't need it as a bettor. What we need is here is the analysis of those players themselves.

Tracking the history of those is one step of doing that kind of analysis. It will be hard as sometimes, both players are equal regardless of their respective status or achievement in the history of Snooker.

I've been looking at the number of markets available to bet on a snooker match. There are more than most people realize. You can't think of it that crazy or you can already bet on it. Number of centuries, which ball will be pocketed first and much more. Pretty interesting, but I think you really need to know a lot about the game to make some money with that.

In my country it is like rich people's game. I haven't used to it, because I personally have a mindset it is the rich people's carrom. Apart, majority of the start rated locations have this for entertainment where elite people spend their holidays. So, I have never used to have an eye over it. It is something that needs good skills and hand control to win.

Few gambling sites have listed upcoming series, if more to be added you can suggest the gambling sites. They'll surely add it analysing whether more people are interested in spending on these games.

please more discussion about snooker can be detailed here if you have any. i really want to gain more knowledge.
Don't get me wrong. Instead of merely discussing what is snooker or how the efforts to play this game, it would be better to more focus on its event bettings or put up our predictions here since we are on gambling discussion board. Nothing wrong with us sometimes talking about the game or how to play it properly, but if its too much and theres no betting discussion I'm afraid it would lead to off-topic of this board, imo. I hope you know what I mean, just my 2 cents.

besides, is there a crypto casino having this game in their list? or even in sportsbetting, i have never encountered this sports in their list. but i do agree, some people are into this sports. there's an upcoming world snooker championship this April, so let us see if some of these crypto casinos will list this event and give odds to the players.
maybe, the odds are mostly available in fiat bookies but we will see if crypto casinos will touch this event...

There are multiple big crypto casinos that have bets on snooker, also for the smaller tournaments. The site in your signature is a good example, I already placed multiple bets on snooker via Stake. The odds are most of the time also quite good and comparable with fiat bookies.

yes, i have seen the list at stake and for me hard to place bet as i'm not really familiar with them. maybe, that's the reason why a lot of gamblers here are not betting on snooker as you can only identify few players if you are not really a follower of this sports. so how can you take the risk on an unfamiliar ground, right?
but good to know that known bookies here do have the snooker betting list, which is good for snooker fans (who are mostly silent on this one).

Snooker is a sweet board game for two people to play. I started playing snooker 2 years ago and it didn't take me a hard time to learn the game. I watched some tutors play on YouTube and practiced on board with friends. Truly, I've not staked any bet on snooker game because of how confusing the game is to me sometimes I just Port balls luckily and I miss out some balls. So, it's not something I can take too serious and stake my funds into. Just play snooker for fun that's all.

I am wondering how the bookies are placing odds on the players here.
Maybe, their history as a player. Because for me, it is hard to bet on them because it depends on their luck and strategy.
And if you are a fan of this sports, there are a lot of crypto bookies that are actually including this sports, including the casino that I'm wearing.
Though some bookies have longer list in their line-up aside from the live snooker events.

The concept is very much the same, but pool/billiards is basically two colors with a black ball and a very self explanatory way to win. Snooker is more complicated, as you have to pot the balls in a specific way and there is a lot more strategy involved. You'll find pool played a lot more casually as the games tend to be shorter and it requires less time to learn. People tend to progress to snooker after if they like the format, it can require thinking a couple steps ahead and sometimes if there is no shot available you want to make use your shot to make it much harder for the opposing player to continue. There's a small but steady market for the game.

In my eyes, snooker is one of the hardest sports to play. It is easy to pot a ball, but you need to make sure that your position of the white ball is good to continue the break and that is the hardest part. If you watch it on TV, it all seems simple but the reality is not like that. Pool is a lot easier to learn and play.

Snooker is played on a table similar to a pool table... different set of rules, different table, different balls, you get the picture. Smiley
Here you can read more about it, a bit about the history, rules, etc What Is the Difference Between Billiards, Pool, and Snooker?
Turns out I've been calling pool as billiards all this time (It's what my friends called it when we were playing it way back then lmao). The general rule seems to be similar across all three games? Most differences are in the way players can score points or the way the points are needed to be scored, but other than that, they're almost the same to each other.

Yep, I tried looking up the name on some casinos and I managed to find some tournaments about it you can bet on. I looked around sportsbet.io iirc? Not sure if it was the exact sport but what are the chances of sports having the exact same no?

I am not that big of an expert about snooker myself but i have a friend that plays snooker in a club and is pretty damn good at it. Snooker is one of those sports that a lot of people don't really know about but it still huge in certain countries, especially in Britain if i am not wrong and the top snooker players are all millionaires, so Snooker is definitely no joke and also big business if you are good at it. In that regard it is pretty similar to darts in my opinion. Also Snooker and Darts are good sports to bet at in my opinion.

Yes indeed, snooker is mainly popular in the UK and in China. There are a lot of young talents coming from China but currently the best players are still from the UK (O'Sullivan, Trump). It is indeed big business as the world champion can win 500,000 pound!
^ That is quite big business and you are right about snooker and I wonder why that kind of game did not have in a gambling casino right now. The snooker game is very popular in my place and that is billiards which is also good and it seems people looking for a game that something can increase your chances of winning, not like on others that is purely fidging against the house edge.

Never heard of it but I've searched it just now, interesting game I might say. Similar to pool but they are opposite, same 6 pockets, however, the pockets of snooker is smaller than pool. Snooker's table is larger while pool is smaller. It's 1 vs. 1 or a team sports, if I'm not mistaken. Maybe people are not interested on it since it's a traditional sports, only few enjoyed it (it's like chess) in my opinion because it takes time before you take your shot.

I have hardly seen people discussed about Snooker unlike other games, mostly discussion about Football, Table tennis, poker much others.

my passion for Snooker all started when i was very little then, i follows my uncle to some joint where they plays over it but since i was very tender i never knew it was all for gambling. Anytime i sets eyes on snooker it keeps the memory awakes so gradually i picked interest about it. i can be liken to gamble over it.

I believe that everyone has had a phase in their lives when they were addicted to this game, whether in childhood when they barely knew how to hold a bat, in college with colleagues (in my case) or after being "old" at the bar with the friends between one sip of beer and another.
It's a game that I also love, but I don't follow the official championships very much, and unfortunately it seems to me that it has little popularity.
I don't remember seeing any threads around here discussing about this.

Snooker is a sports game because playing it requires physical and also quite a long time depending on the skill of the player, and the score of Snooker collects points from the existing balls, and there are several balls that have different points and the most points he wins.
maybe bet on snooker in a match and choose reliable players, maybe that's what I know well because I used to bet often because someone provided a snooker game and the place was not far from home and when they played snooker I bet with friends to choose the player who win.

and I think watching snooker is easier than actually playing it for various reasons.
and when I used to play pool and saw my other friends playing snooker, I thought it was a very easy and simple game, but when I started playing snooker I could see all the complexities.

I played pool and snooker and I preferred pool for many reasons. Snooker a bit more difficult, so it can be a challenge especially for beginners. I also played as a kid. I was 13-14 at the time. When you're younger you learn everything much faster and don't care that you suck at it, you keep playing until you get better Cheesy
I know a few people who know how to play but not a single one that would watch games or actually know the scene and that includes me. Are you by any chance British? It's a popular sport there.

Yeah
You know it requires much of attention and accuracy, focus to be able to pot in ball sequentially. At young age it was very easily for me to get it right, i love playing snooker as it free my boringness and consume most of the time especially during vacations.

No i m not British sir.

Well, with a lot of games that we could choose and play I don't think someone would come up to make a thread about snooker or pool here. Although, I don't know if it's getting less popular or not many people would choose to talk about it. I love pool games although I can't make a topic about it since I do play different games too. It's just that it's not on my priority list since I'm preoccupied with those gambling games but I like to make a bet about it if I like the player.

Yeah, I can barely find some legit crypto gambling sites that offers betting on snooker or pool. Since most of the top games that people like to bet is baseball, football, and soccer so I think it's best to assume that's why there's no thread about of that kind of sport in crypto is because people prefer the top games. Snooker and chess are the best example that not everyone are into that kind of sports especially in crypto and most of the game they prefer is in fiat betting.
