Cryptsy's motives are pretty clear. No AC going out, means they are PoS mining like crazy atm.

They will get caught out if they do, and that will damage their reputation. So I'm going to assume they are not, but time will tell...

Are any multipools buying yet? http://ac2.pool.mn/ hasn't made a purchase yet. I think one of the next steps is to get people mining (and thus purchasing to increase buy pressure) again.
