There is a windows wallet compiled today.

Please update your windows wallets!

http://www.chainbrowser.com/qt/CryptographicAnomaly.zip

Is this version also on the website?

How do we identify this (latest?) version?

Thanks

It is on the website. You can view your about page and the correct version should be 1.1.1.2

Deleted the entire cryptographicanomaly folder at appdata\roaming and downloaded from the above link. I took a backup of the wallet alone. Its still not synching. Here is my getinfo.

used new wallet (last one)
deleted all nodes from config
2 coins came back now.

EDIT: http://cryptexplorer.com/chain/CryptographicAnomaly/q/addressbalance/
only shows recieved coins, mined coins not shown..

I'm glad to hear they came back! What do you mean your mined coins aren't showing? Also, your link is broken, so I'm not sure what you wanted us to see.

http://cryptexplorer.com/chain/CryptographicAnomaly/q/addressbalance/AZ9ndWqBP1eS2LeKvT2cXi2BuciTGr7Lsk
shows 5.79120854
that is the total of i mined with pools and it shows when i start wallet (chain deleted)
my total coins at wallet : 14.79120854 (solomined mostly)

read my edits..
may the hardcoded nodes have different chains?
can downloaded chain change according to which connection you download from?

something is wrong...
i solomined with only 2 nodes at op today. (deleted chain and re get it in the morning)
but with the last wallet deleted the 2 nodes at op, the 2 coin mined today dissappear .
they had 120 confirm and they were matured..

EDIT :
chain is wrong if you delete the nodes at op..
addnode=184.154.116.146
addnode=71.105.130.10

really strange,

i added
addnode=184.154.116.146
addnode=71.105.130.10 back,
redownload chain and....
still my 2 coins missing..

now downloading chain with old wallet with the two nodes..
if coins not show up again.....
i was dreaming or chain had forked back and the blocks rewritten to now..
they got more than 120 confirms.
so i think they must have accepted not only by addnotes but also by hardcoded nodes.

It's possible they were mined on a forked blockchain, in which case, they're gone for good. Sorry to hear you may have lost some coins.

if the nodes updated by dev yesterday.....
and if we used that nodes with clean downloaded chain...
and as they're are still at OP...
how come we mined on forked chain?

or is it you who forks chain with making people use them but you not using on your config?

chain downloaded again, with previous wallet...
with that 2 addnotes at config.. coins missing again..
something seems really wrong..
that coins matured... these nodes accepted them..
where are they?

Two nodes of the most secured ones, tf2honeybadger`s
I actually don't own either of those. I think they might be wzttide's nodes. Either way, my suggestion for running a stable node is to not use ANY addnodes at all. My node (184.154.116.146/cga.inceptioncraft.net) and s4w3d0ff node are hardcoded into the client, and you will connect to them to get more peers automatically. If you just connect to us, you should be good.

Is there anyone else out there reading this who could help s4w3d0ff and me fix this forking? Banning nodes evidently did not work. I slept on the problem last night and now I'm thinking that realistically, the client is probably intermittently creating forks when a certain condition is met. I'm not certain what this could be, but I'm walking through the code to troubleshoot what it could be.

TL;DR: The best way to secure your node right now is to avoid using addnodes in your configuration file. Get rid of them and let the client get peers from s4w3d0ff and myself automatically.

Additionally, I will vouch for wzttide's trustworthiness as an escrow service. He's been a great asset to the community by running a very stable pool and giving bounties out of his own balance.

Done!  I was pulling my hair out with these forks!  Thanks!!

Sorry for the disinformation, yes it`s wzttide`s (I have looked through the thread). I adviced them because they have been working for me for the last three days without any problem. Maybe we should add them to the client as well, as wzttide is a trustable man.

Thank you for posting this. I re-did my config with just these 2 nodes, and it seems to have corrected my problems  Grin
