My CGA Blockchain Explorer now lives at: http://cga.inceptioncraft.net/blockexplorer/

Starting to get worried about cga.poolnetwork...anyone heard from the admin? I have ~2 coins in there, I know it's not much but took me 4 days to mine.
I'm pretty sure the owner of cga.poolnetwork.org and for cga.cryptochomper.com will both put their pools back up once the updated client is officially released.

What does this mean? I'm running Mac OS 10.9.1 Mavericks. Do I have to compile again a new wallet using new source code?
s4wd0ff compiled a new wallet for OS X, and it will be released tomorrow at 12:00 PST / 2:00 EST.

this is great news, glad you guys were able to fix the problem btw i send tf2honeybadger some coins,i saw how hard you guys were working in the irc chat. you guys deserve it.  Grin
It was a lot of work stepping through the code, but I'm glad we got it working finally! Thanks for the coins, too!

So if I have 2MH/s Total & 1MH/s Dead, I am only mining @ 1MH/s?  Huh
If I have a misconfigured mining rigs(inefficient / high dead speed), can i benefit from normal pool than p2p pool? Or efficiency is the same on any kind of pools?

This is hard to tell. There are combinations of miner hardware (sha256) and configurations that do not fit P2Pool all too well. Though dead shares do not directly count toward your payout, they are still part of the overall process of finding blocks. P2Pool works a little differently with regards to its share system in that it's like a mini block chain, so latency is more important than with regular pools. If you think your rig has latency issues, it is thinkable that it could work better with regular pools. However, P2Pool is usually credited with a higher payout than regular pools. For one, the fee on a P2Pool is the overall fee, while on normal pools the actual fee depends on the automatic & manual payout fee + the configured payout threshold. In addition, by default P2Pool has a 0.5% block bonus - meaning that you get at least 1/200th share in the overall payout on blocks you find regardless of how much hash the other miners are supplying.

For the best answer, I think you'd have to see what you get averaged over a fixed number of blocks at different pools.

Thanks!

It seems like there is no update today. Unfortunately we have some issues to resolve first.

Update has been fixed thanks to tf2honeybadger! So show some love: Af1D8mMPZY9JETBXWThuHE53DLzLZe442m

Update WILL happen on Feb 7th @ 20:00 GMT!

There will be a giveaway for updated nodes @ https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/4492-cga-updated-node-giveaway/ so once you update head over there and post your node. This will apply to existing node once they update!

Everyone should have a updated wallet by block 10000 or your wallet will begin to fork!

i been mining at anomalypool for the past 20 hours been getting payout every 2 to 5 minutes   Smiley

That pool has been awesome for me too.
how much have u go from it, i got around 30 coins with 1800 kh/s in 20 hours and have about 60 total

I'd have to go add it up since I was on cryptochomper originally and the payout screen on anomalypool isn't accurate.   I started mining CGA on Monday at 18:15 CST and have 187 so far with 2.9 MH/s point at CGA.

To the miner at http://cga.p2p.0x0a.nl:23932 with address AUZ9o3NZBxLrTts7MkeZeQYJ4bYzmg2LXe, it looks like your miner is configured for the wrong algorithm (should be scrypt), please double-check!

ETA: Going down for a few minutes for the upgrade!

Agreed, really, really excellent, big thumbs up to wzttide.  I think he (she?) should re-instate fees.  I mean its jolly nice not paying anything but I'd like him to be getting rewarded for his work.

One slight oddity though my payout rate has suddenly dropped right off - only three payouts in the last 30 minutes.

First time didn't work, still stops at 9:28. Trying again.

OK it worked, I added a USA based node at the top of the conf and got my payments past 9:28

I haven`t been getting any payments from p2pool for two hours, but cgminer seems to be working as usual, am I on the wrong chain or what?

Me too, mine stopped around 9:30 this morning EST.

Worked for me:

I've taken down my node for now while I help test the new update. The block explorer and my p2pool node will be back up soon once we get this update working.
