Still frozen at poloniex...since a week now (at least). Can you please fix the blockchain? -.-

There is nothing wrong with the blockchain to fix. Poloniex is being stupid. I personally tested my account after this ''fork'' and poloniex was on the correct chain. The market should have never been frozen in the first place!

No problem, i mined 200+ coins in between! The only problem is the coin is frozen in Poloniex which, except of the frozen deposits, has a negative impact on price...

Hey all, sorry about the delay. I have been out of town doing my day job so I can pay the bills. Thanks Brokedummy for the support. I should be back online in less then 2 days and get this new hard fork underway. A lot of the issues we have been having with the network is from a rouge (hacked/sold) pool that had been using miners hashing power to mine (attack) the network. Hang in there. The network is not "dead" just having some issues. It is unforturinate that coinwarz has unlisted CGA but I will be contacting them as soon as I get back home. Nothing about the future plans or development has changed for CGA. The devs have just had a bit of bad luck (timing) to get our personal life's in order. Thank you for your patiance.

Thanks for the update.  Hang in there, and keep us posted.

Exactly. Coinmine.pw is on the right wallet-program/block (correct one is v1.3.3.3 as suggested by dev MANY times before) and i mine very very well. I keep my CGA's here and don't deposit them at the moment, until all this mesh finish.

The dev should not put the new version on line and cause such a chaos...

: Rebuild your database means you have a wrong wallet-program (i think). Go back to the 1.3.3.3 and build it again from network.

We are on block 140643 now.

I was using v1.3.3.3 when mine suddenly decided to screw up and lost it all so like I said that's it for me...

Don't worry guys, the dev is out of town for a few days. As long as all the pools and exchanges are on the same chain what more do you need to hear from him? Coinwarz seems to have taken us down rather than resync their wallet, but I'm sure we'll be added back if the community pulls together. Digitalmint is suspended so just mine on another pool. Always have failovers. Periodically check and make sure your miner and wallet are on the same chain as the pools especially if you are solomining. If you see way more CGA in your wallet than you should have, you need to delete your bad chain data and resync. The longer you wait the more lost hashing time you will have. CGA hasn't been the most noob friendly coin, but I haven't had much trouble keeping updated and on the official chain. We are expecting a new update to boost the block time to 60 seconds and hopefully resolve these forking and sync issues that keep coming up. Keep the faith. These low hash periods are the best time to mine, just make sure you are competing with the rest of the network and not off on your own chain.

Thanks for trying to fill in the vacuum with some data. People like to be kept informed and up to date on what's going on. If they don't get it....uff!

Newb question: "check and make sure your miner and wallet are on the same chain as the pools especially if you are solo mining."
How exactly do I do that? I'm still learning Wink
Also, I'm mining DOGE for fast exchangeable profit right now. Need to buy more hashing power. But I want to get back to mining new coins like NAUT pretty soon too. All the more reason to have more miners going. Wink
Thanks

To definitvely check this, go to your wallet and go to the console and type getinfo, this will tell you the current block. Then type getblockhash for a recent block number. Then compare this hash to the block explorer. Usually though, just making sure the block height matches is enough.

Okay.
Before I do that. when I start CGA, a popup shows "Corrupted block database detected - Do you want to rebuild the block database now?"
The only options are OK and Abort. Is this normal? Is it safe to select OK? I mean, last time I saw this I was suspicious of it having been corrupted in other ways like unleashing a virus in to my system or worse, stealing my coins.
Thank you!
Wolfey2014

I haven't seen that one yet, but I'm sure it's safe to hit OK and let it try to fix it. You may have to delete your bad chain data manually if it doesn't work. Just follow the instructions from a page or two back.
