CGA was frozen by a Poloniex moderator last night because they thought we were on a fork. I just confirmed that there was no fork, and the only problem was a high difficulty causing an extremely long block time. I've emailed busoni asking for him to unfreeze it. Sorry about that!

ya seems that p2p is submitting blocks twice, not sure how this is even possible, last time we saw this we got a fork soon after, I will be sending emails to the owners asking them to take a look.

Temporary don't know developers plan.

Greed large holdings of CGAs. They are unwilling to pay any BTC for CGA.https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes

Early miners bring down the price, and later miners unprofitable, renounce mining, followed by pulled prices.
Into a vicious cycle.

Ya, it is sad really, but this is the greedy world we live in. We will pull out of this vicious cycle in due time, we really need more active devs to help add features and better marketing. I myself am trying to find a real job at the moment and tf2honeybadger is working on transitioning to a college. So in the next few months you might see less and less of us, but not to worry, we are still here and making sure that CGA is running smooth.

I am currently working on "picking up the scraps" of YIN/YANG (I feel responsible for these coins since I had made them and don't want them to slander my name by abandoning them), so at the moment I am grateful that CGA is past this forking nonsense.

All that being said, we need a marketing team, we need more capable devs to step up, and we need the community to have a little patience.

It has been brought to our attention that it is a bit difficult to talk to "newbie miners" about CGA because they just don't understand or we can't properly explain it to them in 100 characters or less Tongue. So we have been working on a kind of "whitepaper" that will have all the info needed to explain CGA to someone new. Once it is done all one would need to do is provide a link to the PDF and it should give a decent explanation of what CGA is all about.

But in the meantime, please vote, encourage others to vote, and keep the faith.

Hi Sawedoff, that is good to heard and I wish you luck finding a good position.
Regarding Yin/Yang: even though I bought a good amount of both coins after some initial distribution of Yin (and lost almost
all the value due to the change of plans and no more distributions or Proof of Ownership entitlements), I would still recommend
that you focus on CGA and if there is no time for Yin/Yang then so be it. As far as I am concerned, those coins are dead,
have been for over a month now already. They smelleth. Don't waste your time on something that has no value unless
there is someone who can really pour time in adding features, new marketing and rallying a new community, but I hear that
you are getting less time, so I suggest you make choices and drop some activities. I have been there, done (too many of) that.
Success!

The goal is to make these coins useable and (partially) support CGA growth. My plan is to make them POW/POS and merged mined during the POW period. I also what to make the POW "switch" on and off, having the coins alternate and be merge mined with CGA. Of coarse this will take a lot of work and if there is anyone out there who knows their way around POS, it would be awesome to have their help. But yes CGA is the priority and always will, YIN/YANG is now going to be my side project and I plan on using them to help make CGA stand out in the crowd of altcoins.

maybe we can think about adding a PoS for CGA?

I would suggest not. That would make it less elusive, and it's quirkiness is what makes its appeal. Granted, it's all the rave right now, but so what? If it were common fashion, it wouldn't be an anomaly.

Ya... probably not

It would be good to bring in some newbie miners. Maybe somebody can make a nice HOWTO mine cryptocurrency website and it would make sense to use CGA as the example since mining is not going to be ending anytime soon.

Well said

Agreed also.

I don't really like PoS, it potentially devalues a coin in my view unless done very carefully indeed.
