Time to speculate. Long term speculating here.

I think in 6 months there will be 6-10 large mining operations that account for 10-15% of the network hashrate.  I think this is the logical course that's developing currently.

That being said I think only companies that can produce their own chips, or have access to a supply of incoming chips will be left as one of those 6-10 players.  Eventually the arms race will end and those players will be the only ones remaining.

I also think ACTM will be one of them I see no reason why they wouldn't.

Highly recommend listening to the latest edition of LetsTalkBitcoin, that discusses this. Even Sir Gavin, has an opinion.

10% each or 10% total? Just curious how decentralized you see mining being in your scenario.

The best thing about all this is that we will see the benefits of the new chip right away. Any testing that will be done will be mined right to our farm and chips will run off the line and start hashing for us before customers see them (Although I hope we can prove to be one of the fastest companies in terms of delivery).

Are You Shpongled?
Will be resources/salaries wasted? spent on avalon clones design
What about preorder on clones? Refunds?
How much shares has ken? 10 mln usd for siting in cave and doing nothing?
(Beside babysiting 6 avalons, transferring shares and answering phone)
Yes the avalon clone design money would be wasted, but it would be better to get a refund than mine for a year just to maybe get an ROI, but very likely a loss.

There were no clones sold. They were only to be used to mine for shareholder dividends.

Ken and co. have 15 million shares, but they don't receive dividends until the other 10 million receive a total of .0025 in dividends. He is not "sitting in cave and doing nothing" -- he is working with eASIC to deliver the 28nm chips that will be the future of this company. Transferring shares ended weeks ago. They are also updating the website with new products and surely they will attack the PR front once the NDA is lifted and they can advertise that chips are coming.

will they will deliver promised avalon clones in stupid cases ?
will they reduce their price to 20 btc ? (friedcat has killed all clones)
will they communicate or ken will hide himself in his cave ?
will they deliver on time 28nm hardware ?

profit sheet is outdatted, will they post updated one ?

(disclaimer, i have unloaded shares at low price)
Pretty funny how those questions were already there months ago.

Ken mentioned progress with his "partners", meaning more than 1.  So who is he working with other than eASIC?  I speculate he has recently picked up a job at McDonalds.

Lol. Most likely reffering the PCB/assembly engineers.

UPDATE FROM THE MAN HIMSELF

Since there has been a lot discussion in the last couple of days, I would
like to reassure everyone that work is progressing well with our partners.
Unfortunately we are still unable to comment on this further.

This is as frustrating for us as it is for all of you.

We are allowed to confirm that the BTC were converted some time ago and the
board designs are in progress. We are also restructuring our product
offerings and fixing issues on the website. We appreciate these have been
live updates which are not ideal, but this is due to a technical issue this
week that is yet to be resolved.

Thank you.

I'm not sure everyone else will though.

In my haste to post this from my phone I submitted it to the wrong thread, therefore I'm posting it there too for that reason and not because I like the attention.

I would like to add my comments to this thread please in regards to this, I believe this has been a long time coming and I've bitten my lip until now as this isn't my "usual" type of post.

They are not directed at anybody in particular and are just my views on this situation.

I liquidated 99% of my other stocks to go all in to ActiveMining. (The only reason it's not 100%is because I couldn't sell my remaining AsicMining direct shares - In fact if anybody wishes to swap, to show prove my below statements? Let me know).

Not to go into details, however; if I sold now I would be very happy with the Bitcoins received.
This obviously puts me in the pro-ActiveMining category.

The reason I am not selling now is that I have a lot of faith in Ken, his team and our newly appointed Advisory / Shareholder Board Members.

I see on this thread particularly and on other stock threads to a lesser degree different members with the same message "the end is nigh" etc. I'm not sure how well organised these attempts at market manipulation are, however they occasionally work and cause slight dips to allow them to buy in cheaper whilst taking advantage of lesser experienced stock holders.

At this point in time I for one am happy, some may call it blind faith but I'd rather have no posts from designated ActiveMining members than have constant fluffer posts to keep the inexperienced, the manipulators and needy members happy (That doesn't apply to everyone asking questions or requesting updates).

I strongly believe 100% that if things weren't going to plan we'd be seeing these aforementioned fluffer posts on a regular basis.
This is a real world business being built from the ground up here and not just an automated e-commerce drop shipping website.
I would not stand for this type of constant neediness and requests for updates in my "real world" line of work.

For these reasons, my gut instinct and the slight updates to the website and model line, that we'll be seeing a hugely positive update in the not too distant future. This update and progress will make us investors with faith extremely happy and not just in a monetary sense.

ActiveMining have already done enough thus far to earn our and especially my trust in them otherwise they'd never have gotten  out of the IPO phase.

I look forward to seeing an update in the not too distant future when applicable, with real updates.

Obviously what I have put above is the inverse of what I was complaining about in regards to attempts at market manipulation.
Therefore please everybody do your own personal due diligence in this and any stock, and not just take the advice and word of any forum member at face value.

Yep, these are all questions I have as well. I'm staying the course and seeing what's around the bend. I suppose these leaps of faith are some of the heartaches you incur when you have a long position.

Let's hear some thoughts on the recent nosedive drop.

Personally, I grabbed a few more shares during the mayhem as I believe ActM will in fact deliver. Can't say I'm thrilled about the lack of apparent movement, but I think we have some good reasons to believe that's still going on despite the all-encompassing NDA.
