If you need to see a steady flow of speculative chit-chat from strangers to give you confidence in a stock you are not basing your business decisions on relevant criteria.

If you want to see a conversation go back to some of the substantive posts over the last page or two and make some relevant comments or ask some relevant questions.

I don't need to see steady chit-chat from strangers. I would like to see some form of update.

ie;

(1) Did we convert the BTC to USD?
(2) Do we know if the Avalons are there yet?
----(2b) The Prototype that arrived - what happened?

Not exactly war and peace.

You are so believe in Ken, blindly. Without the deal with eASIC, ActM worth nothing.

Excellent point. You tackled the 'value' question with insight and intelligence.

I am just curious as to what you value this company on.
Am I correct that the only value it has is the "potential to have its own asics chip"?

Good question. No, having it's own easic (TM) chip would put ACtM streets ahead absolutely. But without that specific deal I'm sure you know that we still have a experienced businessman in Ken who has taken this company a long long way and has taken some very shrewd decisions, we have a board of extremely talented and dedicated professionals with donkeys years of experience, and we have substantial funding ready to go. There are many more ASIC chip manufacturers out there, how do we know Ken doesn't have NDA's with others too incase this deal fell through. I'm 100% confident that he's clever enough to have it covered.

Any company at this stage in it's development is valued almost entirely on it's staff, their talents and it's available funding. Even without an easic deal (which as I said I'm 99% sure will happen) this company has huge upside potential. IMO the current share price reflects all of the above and not much of the easic deal. When the deal is announced the price will shoot up ergo it's current price has little easic in it. We might see .0040 with a non-deal news release but remember most of the shares are held by the board and they would not be selling their holdings easic or not - because they know the company has options and is destined for greatness. All my opinion and if anybody doesn't agree don't start a flame war just say so in a adult way.

I am growing concerned at the lack of any conversation or updates.

I appreciate NDAs but there isn't even any leaning information to help speculate as to what's going on.

As with most of these ASIC companies - Silence is generally viewed as bad/weak.

Crypto is the separation of Power and State.
activeminer stock - steady downhill cruise engaged

soon only thing you will hear is Kens Laughter
he will be sipping pina colada on venice beach
whilst poor shareholders scrape together their coins
to buy loaf of bread and heat their homes

Good for him, well played, etc.

VE and Stuart will become those crazy homeless guys you see ranting to nobody in particular, until they get beaten to death by the cops.   Cheesy

Price jump on btc side. This is the awesome part where we all realize that even though things are slow here, we're still riding up with bitcoin.

Are we going to get a time for the next major press release? Or do we just have to hover around this thread as to not miss it.

I advocate picking a date/time ahead of major announcements.

I have no real information. But since the last ActiveMining-PR post was on the 19th, last Monday, and was posted after 11:00pm EST I'd say  we shouldn't rule today out as a none-news day quite yet.

Disclaimer: I know nothing.

I bet you nothing will happen today at all  Cheesy. if I had to guess, I would  say you wouldn't hear anything until end of the week at the best case scenario .

I know, I know everything is under NDA even Avalon clone prototypes  Wink  so we just have to wait more....

99% sure.. you poor soul
even sleepy guys are waking up to reality of this 'security'

I'm not sure if you've heard this before, but did you know you don't have to buy and hold shares of ActM? If you do indeed decide that you don't want to hold any ActM shares, you wouldn't even have to labor yourself with writing posts. That's pretty neat, right?

The price isn't budging any lower and positive news has to be imminent.

Just to play an elementary child's version of a devil's advocate, no it doesn't.

And the same to the first half of the sentence.... the price can always go lower.

Have fun holding water until January while others make huge profits elsewhere

I didn't get the impression he was saying to hold ActM, and only ActM, till Jan. no matter what.

If the easic deal doesn't materialise (ive no idea but I'd say its 99% guaranteed thats why I only hold ACtM) do you not think Ken will do something productive with the 1mill+ USD he has? There are a lot of options to make big bucks even without easic, they are not the only golden ticket.

Sure. He could shuffle some things around, no doubt. My point is that, at this time in the game, such a withdrawal would be catastrophic.

As I said, if they don't have chips until January ActM is still in an extremely good position to catch up because they are getting chips at cost, the NRE is paid, they can scale extremely well/cheaply.

I used ASICMiner as an example.

They have close to 50TH right now I believe.

That is 142,000 Chips at 350MH/Chip (Based on the USB Miner, I'm sure they are getting a little more with better cooling but it will still be over 100,000 chips)

That same hashrate can be done in 3,125 Chips from ActM.

142,000 ActM Chips would be 2.2PH (Yes PentaHashes)

It's easy to see that even come January we are in a very good position.

We can all agree that the market value of the 6 avalons and the avalon clones are with in 90 days of becoming worthless correct?
So, what is of value here?   The fact that you are in line to get a wafer start?   What is the value of that?
