Please start dreaming up elaborate court dramas.

Are you suggesting copyright law does not apply to ACtM?

Or are you saying you are completely naive about the sharks that operate in the business world and that if someone has purchased copyright and licensing over an identical logo to your own multi-million dollar company you just  laugh it off and the issue will go away?

You silly, silly little boy.

the share price is sinking, you guys are still talking about the logo,  WTF.

lol what do you recommend we do? maybe we should conjure up a magic share price spell?

Could we put the price itself under NDA?

The problem with this general design is that lewicki holds the licensing rights to something very similar and so the potential for legal dispute means ACtM cannot risk going with anything similar. A multi million dollar company could be sued for a very large sum for such a breach of copyright.

You need a different design guys.

Edit- I'm not saying lewicki himself would launch a case (he could) but if he sells the rights to the logo on to someone else to get his money back then that new owner could take it to court - basically a minefield.
How about the computer case photo in this webpage ?

When there are products to take pictures of, those will most likely change.
Sure it will change.
So HTC can put photos of iPhone5S on their homepage until there are new products to take pictures of?

No but they are an established company with previous profit to fund R&D and manufacturing on future products. They can afford to have a prototype or HQ renders to use for marketing.

What I do agree that should be done is to append a disclaimer to the bottom of the image stating that the picture does not accurately represent the final product.

I'm not a lawyer but you have a guy with a license to an logo, and ACtM are potentially going to change their current logo to a very very similar logo to the one that is copyrighted. You can't know what a judge would rule on that change, at this time, after certain relevant contacts between Ken and lewicki. Not worth the risk IMO.

Well.. Labcoin is about to implode. I guess there will be alot of BTCs coming back to Actm.

If it implode, majority of BTC just disappear. The tiny part of fund of the few luckiest people will not help much.

I'll likely just scare people off mining stocks all together - the big selloff in Labcoin coincided with a big drop in ActM's prices as well, and LC's actually rebounded more.
