Yes, lewicki web site looks good; however, it is an unproven site.  Our current site is making 8X times what we are spending on advertising.  Also, there have already been some licensing problems with the site that lewicki developed.

decentralize EVERYTHING...
If you know for a fact that they are compatible and that all you have to do is change the "Theme" of his current platform then there's not a single good reason why he shouldn't use your site.

Like I said in my first post: The sites are completely incompatable since what I made is all in house. After he rejected my site I offered to make the PrestaShop modules for the front end of his current website. Long story short, he said no. That's when Darin started ripping images from my site.

Well in this case, as a community let's make sure Ken gets the point. I will be PMing him that he should use your website and anyone else that believes so should as well.

He can't ignore all of the emails/PMs but he can ignore this thread apparently.
THIS. People, if you think the site is great and want Ken to adopt him, then PM him!!! He does not read the thread and your voice will not be heard if you post here.

I even remember talking to a Nokia fan in computer science telling me how he could do commands and stuff on his phone and the web browser was enough, the iPhone was just a step back in his opinion.
Actually when the iPhone got out, it had no third-party applications allowed, no app store, and Steve Jobs himself said a web browser was enough.
Nokia also released some of the best smartphones (the N900 / N9) but failed to promote them.

Apple changed their stance and actually promoted their phones for the third-party applications. Nokia continued to do nothing.

Yes, this is the problem with engineers and marketing!

The tech isn't enough!

I actually feel sick that I invested in this.

In all honestly, why not try every approach?

What do you want to try next? Sending the boys round?

From what has been said on here the Board have tried their hardest on this one and Ken won't budge. You have to respect that I'm afraid. So the best we can do now is try to improve the current site - which I believe is not nearly as bad as most are making out. Drop a few graphics, redesign the options bar to do away with the side panels and it is professional and clean.

But its not going to happen, we are a "12 year old with photoshop" type of company. Professionalism only exists for backend stuff and engineering, all that front end stuff and marketing? Nah! That don't matter! I'm a engineer god dammit!

That level of dialogue when directed at Ken is not going to win any favours is it? You just insulted then man and you want him to listen to you? Good luck.

Well thats the thing I heard that at one point Ken went months without making contact. I doubt he is listening to me or anyone else. I study engineering and too often you find people in my field that just see the technical and thats all. Its like all the Nokia fans back in the day were raging at the iPhone along with Steve Ballmer about how crap the iPhone was going to be and how their phone had better specs. No one ever thought user interface or marketing would have a role to play.

I even remember talking to a Nokia fan in computer science telling me how he could do commands and stuff on his phone and the web browser was enough, the iPhone was just a step back in his opinion. I felt sad as these fans couldn't understand as Apple destroyed them so completely and utterly.

As an engineer I must remember my bias towards my field. Engineering has its role to play but so does marketing and website design.

Thats why I am afraid. Ken sounds like a fantastic engineer, but one who can't understand why the inferior product is selling more units. (Hopefully when we do sell units this won't be the case)

the clear solution is to let lew work on the website and reimburse him.

how do you think bfl got so many sales? it wasn't their back end that is for sure. it was their professional looking website and advertising. we have the advertising down for the most part, we just need a modern looking website. it gives the impression of professionalism.

i just really want us to succeed. more sales equals more dividends and increased share price in the long run.

we have the opportunity to be the best of all worlds. the allure of bfl, the efficiency of asicminer, and the efficient miners of avalon.

Agreed agreed agreed.

Pay Lew like a professional company should, dump that original site and start making this company look like the Apple of miners.

Whats the status of the shareholder meeting?

Is there a timeline to when that will be?

I'm sure we all appreciate the long hours lewicki has put in but it seems porting over the backend is impossible, so logically right now the only solution is to improve the original site.

It's not that bad come on. I think most of it has the feel of a quality design. The failings are in layout.

1) The logo needs to go it is absurdly bad
2) The categories splashed down both sides of the page (SPECIALS, NEW PRODUCTS, TOP SELLERS) etc create a very confusing and busy page. So the top black 'option bar' which only has 'HOME' in it so far is where these options should go. I think that would be an easy redesign and would improve the site no end.

The information overload and confused jumble of images and text on the products pages of the current website says it all, irrespective of aesthetics.

Come on Ken, you wouldn't have made it this far if you hadn't listened to us.

Can someone from the board impress upon Ken how the majority of shareholders feel about the importance of this issue please?

Re: share transfers. It's a no go. Have to stick with bitfunder.

I'm glad you've seen sense on this. You can't undermine btc.tc share value by dumping a load of shares on there and expect btc.tc holders to be happy. It would be classic market manipulation. The price difference we see is due to the laws of supply and demand and as such should not be interfered with to the detriment of any shareholder. Everyone made a choice of which exchange to buy on and they were not warned that supply on an exchange could be significantly increased to keep parity.

Ken doesn't want to make a big change right now. It's been pushed as hard as it possibly could be. What you've seen is an -unfinished- option he was given.

I still hope he takes it up in future but I can't see that happening for a while.

As long as you are open to giving the current files/code then I'm sure this won't be an issue.

It doesnt work that way. The site is completely incompatable. His pages reload on clicks, mine don't.
