Don't you need a big gpu farm to be making a decent figure from mining scrypt coins?

While profits appear to be up to 4000% above bitcoin this assumes an identical hash rate for both sha-256 and scrypt and the practicalities involved in running 60000 Gh/s on GPUs compared to 60000 Gh/s on an ASIC might suggest that it is not all peaches and cream on the scrypt side of things.

I see there are scrypt ASIC devices on the horizon however.

Yes, both LTC and FTC are more profitable than Bitcoin.

Currently, about 20-30 times more profitable.

I'm using a BFL 60 Single to mine alt coins and although I haven't sold any yet, I should be able to get 0.85 btc selling Unobtainium mined from the last three weeks.

Also there are 16 sha-256 coins listed on coinwarz.com, one being Bitcoin.

A bitcoin miner can be used with any SHA256 crypto as far as I am aware.

I could be wrong with that last statement but that's what I thought

the ASIC can only be designed for mining one currency (thus "application specific").  This is why other cryptocurrencies use CPU mining.

Mergemine NMC maybe, but that's about it.

Guys  don't forget  all the ASICs that we or anyone sell can be used to mine other cryptos.  So the market is bigger than what were thinking in our limited bitcoin scope thinking.

The evidence to support the claim that this company is on course is abundantly clear and there is no need for me to list it here.

I'm sorry if I offended you and that certainly hasn't been my intention.  My recent responses have been to comments made by others who have quoted you and I certainly haven't targeted you because you posted a view in opposition to mine.  I am all for healthy debate and you will notice by some of my previous posts, that I frequently throw questions into the mix in an attempt to promote productive discussion.

If you want to put me on trial for my 'vile crime' of sharing my optimism about ActM then I plead guilty.  Just because I am a considered chear leader, doesn't mean to say that positive news is not positive just because I make a positive comment.  You would do well to remember this.  This company is in a fantastic position to do extremely well and those clever enough to hold their shares understand, not only the risks, but the potential for enormous reward.

 

There are 160k still unsold from the 10mill aren't there? Something like that.

If I recall correctly, I think there were around 120k shares that were not sold of the original 10M, I don't have a source for this and am too lazy to find one so I would appreciate corrections if I'm misremembering

Do we know if the entire 10,000,000 shares were sold during IPO. Perhaps these shares are a portion held back?

The 600k werent actually "created" on cryptostocks until someone purchases them at .001, while throwing away their BF shares.  only 8000 shares took that route

Yes, so he created 600k on one website, then destoryed 600k on another website. Where are the 600k that he created? No one bought these shares, so where are they at? Are they Ken's personal shares? Will they be listed on CryptoTrade?

What makes you think they still exit?

I thought the idea was to destroy the same number of shares on BF thus keeping public offering at 10mill.

Yeah I know he pulled them, but they still exist. So wouldn't they be listed on CryptoTrade? Do we know whose shares they are? A part of his 15Million? His personal shares?

Is it by evidence of the happy customers who have reported that they received miners from AMC/VMC that are up and running?  Is it from the dividends you have been receiving from ActM?  Is it from the healthy active stock price?

Where is the empirical evidence that the company is on course?

Did Ken actually make some public statement to that effect?
Do you you think that being snide with me, and dismissive somehow makes what you claim true?

Does it bother you that much that someone posts a view that is in opposition to yours that you must be insulting?

Let's see, most of this thread is idiocy from people like crumbs and StuartUK. At least crumbs is funny once in awhile. The rest if split between fraternal comradery and silliness, expressions of mutual consolidation and the most vile of them all, of which you have been most guilty, that is treating each of Ken's meager public statements as if they are some sacred oracle which must be dissected and interpreted and analyzed to interpret to find the tiniest spark of hope.

Has Ken given a specific date for when the NDA will be lifted?
Has Ken provided an explanation and full report on where he is in terms of software and hardware development?
Has Ken given a full explanation about the state of the company to the satisfication of most of us?

Why are you so hopeful (and insulting) given the fact that we have nothing to show for Ken's many promises and previous hyperbole?

What about the initial 600k?
