Yes. Transfer them to Ken and he will put them on the new exchange when it is open.

Log in to BF.
Go to the 'Transfer' page.
Select 'ActiveMining' shares.
Select amount - (all your shares)
Input AMC-TENDER into Username box
Click TRANSFER.

Before you do that, go to the 'Settings' page and make sure your 'Public Bitcoin Address' is one that you can sign from -  eg a Blockchain Wallet- https://blockchain.info/wallet

Take a screenshot of your tender confirmation page and save it. You do not need to email or PM Ken. You may be asked at some point in the future to sign from your wallet address (with your Bitfunder name) to prove you are the owner of that address.

Yeah looks great knybe, but look a bit closer, the chart says $100 a BTC right now would be within the (median) rising channel. So we could be $500 over-valued right now according to your 'everything looks to be on schedule' chart.

We are at $600 right now. I predict sub $400 within a few days where it will stay in the 3-400 range for an extended period. There will be no recovery to the 900 level this year.

Last time we had a bubble when it shot up outside of the established rising channel to  $260 we waited 6 full months for a return to that level. I don't think we will need to wait 6months for a return to the recent high but 2-4 months is likely.

Median channels on a log-scale chart are not of much use for short-term investment decisions - especially when the volatility spikes are up to 80% of total value of the security. They give a false sense of price movement and when we are thinking of securing short-term gains the log-scale will give you very limited/no cues as to when to sell.

These are the real-world trend channels you need to look at to see where spot price is likely to go based on the current underlying trend - 2 possibilities to chose from. Both say SELL NOW to lock-in profit or be prepared to wait 2months+ for a return to these levels.





NB no prediction is cast in stone - but this is the most likely future over the short-term based on recent price action. IMO

We have to assume he didn't/doesn't currently doesn't have a graphics designer. Probably only a coder that dabbles in design. (Let's hope this is the case :/)
This time around maybe he will plop some money in a decent web template / graphic designer. Well worth it from a credibility standpoint which is one of the most important things in the bitcoin business atmosphere currently.

let's hope Ken doesnt have a designer looking at it. we all know (Ken included) that web design is not the forte of ActM.

As long as there is a decent site that can read the "Ledger" and allow for "Trades" then yes this could be a good thing. If the site looks like http://mpex.co/ then no one's going to touch it regardless of the backing of colored coin. Hopefully Ken has a designer looking into it.

AT THE MOMENT IT LOOKS LIKE WEEXCHANGE.COM IS A SCAM!

When I was panicking last week I was of the opinion that getting my Bitcoin back as soon as possible at breakeven rates was my best course of action. The main thing on my mind was the rising Bitcoin price and how it might become impossible to get back those Bitcoins. However I have calmed down recently and after taking two points into consideration I am now considering riding it through.

Point 1) The increase in Bitcoin price is a good thing. If Ken carries through with the 50% reinvestment idea, this means we have much more fiat to spend on chips and R&D. If Bitcoins are 10 times more expensive than last month, that means we have 10 times the fiat to pump back into operations. This will allow us to compound our hash rate much faster and perhaps even increases ourselves against the other miners.

Point 2) My breakeven position is rather high, and we are not getting to those prices under the current climate of no mining. However if mining happens and it's really successful my position might actually be too low. In the case that my position is too low I will make my position higher and see if it gets eaten or leave them there and eat the dividends. This is all about network hashrate. Based on shares being valued at 18 months ROI my breakeven point is 4% of the network, so if we do a lot better then I will push up my position.

Note that most people will be breakeven way below 4% of the network, and most people will be taking profits before me. (I am a worst case shareholder :p)


I really think 5% and higher is possible due to reinvestment and a high Bitcoin price.

So are you guys just waiting for a situation where you can offload your shares without making a loss?

I think that if the share price is high, then the news must be good, and if the news is good, then the divs are what I'm after...

I was thinking when colored coins go live that will create huge buzz, and along with it Active Mining being the first company embracing it. That will be big publicity and could cause a frenzy. I mean especially with the November announcement coming up and hashing to likely begin after. It could be a perfect storm. 

I have created a dividend/company calculator. It is conservative.


I'd say that it's very likely that the model is pretty inaccurate after month 2, as it makes a lot of big assumptions.
