I attempted to transfer my shares. We'll see how this goes.

Thanks for being on top of the exchange issue Ken, it makes me feel more confident!

How's the PR situation going? Are you going to be attending BTC conferences like I had suggested? I know our competitors will be there. Please respond to this.

@Ken, but you are US citizen no? Will that be an issue?

No, it is owned by the AMC (Belize) right now; however, it will have to be spun off to a different corporation before it can start operations, as AMC does not have the proper license to hold 3rd party funds.

Just a thought. Btct was registered in belize, also. Why your exchanger should not suffer from the same burnside's end?

If a solution would be avoid the use to US citizens, don't you think burnisde would have done it, as well?

edit: don't get me wrong, I'm a shareholder and I want ActM to succeed, but this thing about open a new exchanger scares me, I don't want it makes things go worse

The new exchange with AMC as the owner of the corporation that runs the Stock Exchange will only happen if there are not any other options for shares to be traded on an exchange.  Should the new exchange not be needed in the long term, it may be sold with the provision that ActiveMining could be listed there in the future at no listing charge.

it baffles me that anyone is selling below .0025 but whatever... I got plenty btc, just keep chompin.

Well, if you think the price is on the downswing, it doesn't much matter what price you sell at if you have the intention to buy back.

agree, and price likely will go lower before some good news, if we still can see one :\

no way man... this sleeper is gonna blow the doors off any other mining operation once in full swing.

I'm not a big fan of Bitfunder either, but let's not complicate this at the moment. The important thing is to maintain liquidity, so immediately moving to Bitfunder makes the most sense as no setup is required.

Let's merge everything into BitFunder for liquidity purposes.

No, setup is required, as we already have planned for this.  All I have to do is take the shares off of BTC-TC and issue the shares on Bitfunder.

Yes, kudos for forward thinking Ken. We're in much better shape than many other assets, so a thank you is definitely in order. Thanks! Smiley

Once things are stable, diversifying to Havelock will help reduce our risk yet again, should something similar happen with Bitfunder. One silver lining to all of this may be that more attention is given to the development of a decentralized exchange to minimize regulatory risk in the future.

I'm assuming you are going to be doing this on or shortly after October 7th?

October 7, 2013, all forms of secondary market trading will be halted on both sites.

Thank you for the clarification Smiley

Seems like that would be what we would do.
