Well they already bought into bitcoins, but for doing profit they need other people also buy bitcoins so the price increase. And for now they are trying to push the price and to push the attention on incoming news.

Charles is a known character, was one of the founders of BitShares and also worked on Ethereum

As far as i can tell charles doesnt follow adam on twitter so they have the whatever news via different communication routes.

Such kind of news won´t have any effect on the bitcoin price. A big news would be amazon or ebay accepting bitcoin as a payment, but not what you guys are talking about.
