Last days a lot of pool spammers banned, (we are talking about
this type of spamming) so this rule is necessary for anti-spam policy. I fully support the new rule. It's better than completely removing altcoin board.

No, you can't advertise your service, be it a pool, a marketplace, etc., in other threads (that includes coin announcements). Make your own thread in the appropriate board and PM OP to add it to the main post.

Examples of what is OK and what is NOT OK would be extremely helpful.
There is a time factor when new coins are released. If I create a pool I want to inform miners as soon as possible. If I must wait for the dev to add my pool to the OP, miners have to wait as well.
It's in the benefit of both miners and pool ops, for pool ops to be allowed to post an unstyled 1 liner linking to their pool. Unstyled meaning no altering of how the text looks in a post.
Did the ones who spilled their screen filling banners all over threads ruin it for us all?
