It is very good to see something very useful from a Jr member. Where most of the Jr Members are busy to spam! Many bounty hunters hold their coin, not every bounty hunters are the dumper. However, I don't blame them who dump their bounty rewards after listing on exchanges. Because Presale investors put the sell order in below ICO price too but no one talk about them, everyone only blames bounty hunters for the price drop! If I need money, then I will not hear anybody! I worked, the project got success, they gave me payment, I need money so I sell immediately. No one can blame me, but still, everyone forgets about presale investors and they like to blame bounty hunters. This is not fair actually.

I think everybody who has some knowledge about the cryptocurrency market knows this advice already and also do it. The problems are the bounty hunters who are greedy and sell their coins and tokens after they got listed to make profit. Sure i also had some tokens which i hold and they are now worth less. But in cryptocurrencies you have to think in the long way, which menas you have to hold your stuff for years!

My advice is to wait some time after distributation, when altcoin will be listed on the exchange with good trade volume and only then, according to the price, sell all or a just a part.

Bounty hunters help to expose ICOs to crypto related audience to attract investors for the project. No matter how promising the project may be, if the ICO fails, the project won't see the light of the day. Bounty hunters are very important in ICOs. But there is one thing am not happy about bounty hunters. They usually dump their coins at any price the moment it is listed on an exchage which usually drops the price of the coin even below the ICO price putting the investors at a disadvantage. I want to advise the hunters to hold their bounty tokens for a while in order to maintain a good price for the coin. We shouldn't forget we are all stakeholders
you are definetely right mate, all of us are stakesholder ,thus we also hold the power to manipulate the market prices. just imagine over a thousand are hunters in one ICO and if all of them decide to sell the tokens at cheap price. what will happen is that the price is now monopolize

there's really a dark side to bounty hunters, I'm running some projects because I'm scared to divulge and the project is a scam, but I do not sell my currencies early, always seeing what is needed to help with the expenses, but there are many hunters looking for investor money

Most of the bounty hunters once they've got their reward tokens to their own wallet then especially if token is already list in the exchange, of course they simply immediately sell their coins, though it is already their discretion to do it.  But some are holding em for a moment to thinking it will get more higher in a short period of time depending on their belief in the coins. Because, for me I'm not selling it all only 40% of the total coins I have was the only token which I sell it first, therefore, I'm applying day trade and scalping in a short period of time.

Brother do not worry, ETH may soon grow. Such fluctuations are common for crypto-currencies. Right now, only Bitcoin is in place.

Bounty is the part of ICO based on this it seems that they wants to create hype to the customers yes some of the projects they success but many of them are not there people earn or face loss so before investing on this types of thing be careful about this.

I think this situation will hardly change because who is bounty hunter usually needs money fast! And we all know that ICO is high risk by today's standards and many are more of the same projects. Wink

In 2018 it became more difficult to earn bounty hunters, in this not an easy time we have to help ourselves. Everyone for himself decides what and when he will do with his earned tokens. Someone immediately after receiving the tokens dumps them for pennies, but after passing some time the price of the token increases and the person begins to regret what he sold for pennies. My advice is to hold your tokens in order to get more profit in the future.

You can keep 100 coins very long and 1-2 of them will be shot and will be very expensive. But immediately after the coins on the exchange, you can sell 80-90 coins and immediately get a profit. And the most constructive tactics to sell 50%, the remaining 50% hold.

the total allocation for bounty is only 1% of the total supply so in my opinion it does not have a significant effect on the price of coins after all not all bounty hunters have the ability to become holders because there are some people who need money quickly to fulfill their basic needs

Never depend your income to bounty campaigns, still get yourself a stable job. Inspect the campaign that you would join first, it'll avoid you from joining hoax campaigns. Follow their rules and regulations.

Well if bounty hunter sell the coin soon then it is not good for an ico. Bounty hunter must have to hold for a while it create positive impression among ico investor and help the project in creating its value
Bounty hunters, in any case, will keep all the earned coins, since a lot of time was spent on participating in the campaign and it's very unprofitable to sell coins now.
There are cases when a member of the Bounty of the company has already lost confidence in the project and does not believe in the reality of development. Therefore, it is possible in this case, many will sell such a coin immediately after the completion of the company's ico.
If the project is not making enough money for a long time then sell the coins on an exchange.

My advice is not to hurry up and keep your head cool. Always think for yourself and analyze all situations and projects. Each project is unique. Do not be lazy.

this is indeed detrimental to investors and developers because with the large number of coins sold at low prices, newly registered coins must immediately experience a price reduction, therefore developers must outsmart this by giving dividends to holders so that there will be many bounty hunters who think twice before sell coins

Of course yiu have observed right.... It's even worse with the airdroppers who do little or nothing to obtain these tokens other than typing out  their account numbers on some forms.

You can't totally blame a hunter who flips... His primary interest is most likely  in the reward and not in the project... So he earns his reward and he checks out...

Devs however, I think, can devise  new ways of preventing massive dumping by bounty hunters... Some devs now lock bounty rewards and only  release them in batches... So  the  tokens sit right there in the wallet but they can't even be moved out ... Until perhaps a time in the future when the project gets more stable...

Bounty hunters help to expose ICOs to crypto related audience to attract investors for the project. No matter how promising the project may be, if the ICO fails, the project won't see the light of the day. Bounty hunters are very important in ICOs. We can't blame those who do so because in the first place, they didnot invest in order to earn tokens from a project. since there's a tendency for the market value of that coin to fall, they'd more likely go for assured profit which is selling already before investors who hold. And such action makes the market value to fall even more especially if majority would do the same thing.

Your premise is a bit faulty sir. Bounty hunters invest time, energy and money (spent on data subscriptions) before earning tokens. I'm supposed to be in bed right about now but here I am on BCT because I'm a bounty hunter...

I'd  however repeat  that the reason for flipping is simply because the hunter's interest  lies in the rewards which are the earned tokens rather than in the project itself...

yes because it is a good time to sell coins at ICO prices, because a lot of coins after the ICO cannot survive in a market competition that might make coins from the bounty campaign worthless
