I know it isn't easy at all to stop doing something you absolutely love to the death, but sometimes you don't have a choose.
I said it before and I am positive it's true even if that's its just my opinion! If you want something hard enough, you will be able to do it. If you only want something 50% you will not be able to do it
And you don't need to quit over an night, take steps, step by step and it will be more natural to stop.
I speak from own experience and had a gun pointed at my head at one point because I could not pay debts I got from gambling from people you NOT should be unfriends with.
Long story short.... If you really want a change, whatever it is! The change will for sure come!
If you truly recognize that you have a serious gambling problem, the best thing to do is to stop gambling immediately. Cutting back or gambling smaller amounts doesn't address the root of the problem. While a few individuals might be able to quit on their own, many need medical support or assistance from their loved ones.
Substituting gambling with another, less harmful activity often helps significantly. Consider working more, joining a gym, or pursuing a new hobby.
