As the AdEx project evolves, so does our concept and timeline for its development. Below is the revised and updated roadmap for AdEx.

Stage 1: Research [Completed]
June 2016 — June 2017

During this stage we researched the feasibility of the vision to create a decentralized and transparent ad network. We worked closely with the WINGS Foundation and other advisors to arrive at the current concept and assemble a suitable team.

Stage 2: Token Crowdsale [Completed]
June 2017 — July 2017

This stage marks the deployment of the first AdEx smart contract and the announcement of ADX token. The ADX token will launch with the help of WINGS.

There will be a crowdsale in which 80% of the ADX token will be offered and the rest will be distributed to the team, advisors, bounty program and WINGS DA.

The crowdsale is necessary to fund the development of the prototype and the business development required to drive initial adoption.

Stage 3: Prototype/AdEx Dapp Beta [Completed]
July 2017 — February 2018

The first AdEx prototype will be delivered as early as February 2018, and it will include a basic ad bidding system with a front-end for advertisers and a front-end for publishers, as well as an SDK for publishers.

This prototype will focus on native advertising and display advertising.

It will be completely open-source and independently audited.

Stage 4: Adoption and Improvement
February 2018 — July 2019

This stage includes heavy business development. The software development is driven by the market needs and feedback as we increase the adoption rate of the AdEx system.

We will continue to bring new functionalities and enhance the user experience within the AdEx dapp.

Additionally, during this stage we are bringing other forms of advertising to the dapp — for example video advertising.

Stage 5: Rolling Out the AdEx Protocol
July 2018 — September 2018

At this stage, we are releasing the AdEx protocol. It is a generalized advertising infrastructure that includes smart contracts and our node (i.e. a scaling solution). This protocol aims at fully bridging the advertising and blockchain industries in order to allow for more and better blockchain-based advertising solutions.

During this stage, we will experiment with various scaling solutions like Plasma. We will also test options for reward systems for attention monetization.

Stage 6: Dapp Improvements
July 2018 — September 2018

During Q3 2018, we are introducing new functionalities to the AdEx dapp.

This stage brings massive improvements to the user targeting and reporting.

We also plan to enhance the user experience — most importantly, we will work towards making the integration of the publisher SDK as easy as possible.

The AdEx DApp Beta Rolled Out

After months of rigorous development, we are proud to announce the release of the AdEx Network Beta.

We are proud and happy to announce the launch of the AdEx DApp Beta. The DApp is coming out right on time as per our roadmap, however we are jumping ahead in the development. Instead of AdEx Network V1, we are rolling out AdEx Network V2 (Version 2 was originally scheduled.

This advancement is a result of an architecture redesign that gives AdEx better scalability, more flexibility and ultimately — better user experience.

In addition, AdEx users (both publishers or advertisers) will have the option to log in with popular crypto wallets. Initially, only the Metamask option will be available, however Ledger and Trezor will be made available shortly.

This V2 of our smart contracts allow bids to be off-chain signed messages until accepted. This significantly improves scalability but also adds up to the general architecture of those smart contracts — with it, second layer scaling solution such as Plasma will be absolutely compatible with our DApp if necessary.

We are planning to continue exploring scaling in the next months.

What can you expect
A clean and simple interface. For years now, advertising platforms have been overloaded with menus, tabs, screens and options — to the point that setting up a campaign has become utterly frustrating. This is not the case with AdEx: we have stripped our interface down to the what you really need. Creating a new advertising campaign is easy as a piece of cake, and so is placing and accepting bids. Not to mention that the UI is quite easy on the eyes!

No fees or commissions. With AdEx, advertisers place their bids for a particular advertising slot, and thus determined the CPM/CPC they are willing to pay; publishers can then accept or reject the bid and if they accept it, the ad campaign goes live. Once the campaign is over and the ad delivery is verified by both parties, publishers receive their payment in the form of ADX tokens. We at AdEx charge absolutely no fees or commissions for the transactions that happen on the DApp.

A bug or two. We have done our best to ensure the AdEx Beta functions as flawlessly as possible, however it is still a Beta — so a bug or two are about to be expected. If you come across something that is not working properly, or if you believe there’s a better way for a feature to work — do let us know!

What is next for AdEx
In the upcoming months we will focus on the seamless onboarding of all advertisers and publishers who have expressed interested in using AdEx for their advertising needs. We will also actively seek prospective users to speed up the adoption of our DApp.

Along with this, our development team will continue working on improving scalability and on introducing new functionalities to the platform.

Ever since the start of the project, we have always been open to feedback from our community members and prospective users. This will not change; on the contrary. As of this point, feedback and suggestions are more important than ever.

If you are a day trader then I am not really sure. But if you are a position or long term holder/investor then the current price is a very good entry. Even at minimum 20k sat is very attainable within this year.

If you worried about security of your fund, then move the token to where you can control the private key. MEW for example.

I have a reserved ammount of money for this project . I am worried about funds protection . I was a investitor for coindash and they were hacked and all funds were lost.Hope to be a good project

Only issues that this coin has might be that it looks like a lot of the coins are being held which could be a risk.  It shows that it's Available = 57,200,000 and Total = 100,000,000 which would be Available/Total Supply - 57%

I finally sold all my ADX.  Bought in at $.75 and sold at $1.10.  Very happy with this coin and will probably buy back in in the future.

Adex has a great potential.just wait for prorotype release and the prise will certainly  touch 1.5 $ 

I just bought this coin again. I like how big swings happen. But this time I think I will hold most of this for long term since I also see their community and team doing great. Adex will be listed on Binance hopefully during the next round of voting.

The coin has a huge potential for further growth, I bought at ISO and sell in the near future is not going to.

No one speculations currently, I agree with thangoffshore, better hodl till the roadmap end, and we will see how the price going, I can say adEx is long term investment.
