"Wasting time" is if our efforts are not comparable to what will be obtained. it's the same if you join another campaign if the time you spend is not worth the profit results.

Airdrop is considerable a time wasting over a hundred of airdrops you participated? Maybe 1 or 5 airdrops are guaranteed for you to pay. Airdrop payments are ranging $1 - $5 also so and this is not a good way to earn crypto currency or Bitcoin.

exchanging identities for airdrop tokens seems pretty bad indeed. we know that airdrop is a way to produce tokens that have a very small profit ratio. selling your identity for cheap things is not wise, especially if you get paid. Well, it will be a waste if you don't get paid.

?well i dont think so . the reason that all company's start an airdrop is for everyone to know them thats why they pay with airdrop.its about that time witch we use to split ref with people around us . the quality of this action is not high and i think thats the reason why most of the airdrops are almost useless.

Many greedy peoples want to take the reward by using bots to join the airdrops, this is of course not the purpose of the airdrop.
Take a part in airdrop is not cost much time and effort, but for me, it is better to take a part on other campaign than airdrop.

i put enough time for airdrops also and im agree about airdrops bot.witch i believe they work fine.but result is not that impressive. most of them just taking your information from gmail+facebook+twitter+telegram+... and in the end u need to write all that info AGAIN in google form... ! good airdrops is fine for long term but for short term campaign works better.

Each airdrop is only worth $ 2-3 if it is legal. So I didn't waste my time on it either. Bounty is a lot better and I can get a few hundred dollars when the campaign ends. I will always follow and participate in bounty because it is always better than airdrop a lot of times

True, easy to do, but you did not write anything about earning.

Your telegram with be flooded with hundreds of group. You dont waste much time to join an airdrop, but it will take more time later to check if dropped tokens is listed, leaving group, reading (just a bit) news if it profitable to sell now or to wait for some time and etc.

It is true. Even today there are certain tasks that are quite complicated and require us to follow all of their social accounts. Some even require KYC for rewards that are still not necessarily valuable. Don't risk your identity.
It's not that I don't like airdrops, but I'm more selective and only choose airdrops held by exchange tops such as Binance and Upbit. There are other alternatives besides airdrop, for example, follow the game competence https://creepts.cartesi.io/contest/binance/

Why do you think airdrops are a waste of time? How much time do you spend on an airdrop? To me, each airdrop only takes a few minutes so it will not take too much of your time. I remember the day where airdrop is so trendy they use this to Scam people. Like requesting for a Eth donation. I didnt do that.

Almost airdrop nowadays have no value or even if they do, it is not decent anymore. It is only a waste of time where participants are being used by airdrops to just increase the numbers of members of their social media channels or just increase the number of emails they have collected.

for me airdrop is important because sometimes there are airdrops that can make money for example like OGN, every month there is an airdrop that they provide and the price is also quite good in the market, not to mention their market is binance

you mean sending your eth to claim tokens ? they do it because maybe the offer is huge but any huge offer can be something that is shady . if they also ask for some good amounts of eth then that is a no no thing to do . eth is still valueable compare to a token that has not been listed yet or even on a token that is already listed because thier value can easily fade away . airdrops can be a time waster or not depending on your choices . if you like to join randomly , chances are high that you can pick the scam ones
