It's normal in this market, I believe everyone here has ever lost money investing, so don't give up. Continue to invest and conduct careful research, but also avoid Fomo projects. It never had a good result

You're thinking right! Absolutely everyone in this market was losing their money (often a lot of money! Wink).... Losses should be treated more easily! Today you lost your money - tomorrow you could earn it back!

Well, IEO/ICO have long outlived themselves! So I would not recommend anyone to invest in them!

As we know that not all Crypto projects will end legit, there will definitely be a number of persons who try to take advantage of this trend by building a project to be able to reap funds from investors. I have experienced the same thing several times, and at that time I was very frustrated. But what can I do if this has happened, I can only let it go and take lessons so that it doesn't happen again in the future.

I used to have 14 ethereum but I got caught in the web of FOMO and I lost over 10 ethereum because the project I invested the ethereum on have dropped marginally, is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?

before doing something you need to study and research first. You are too brave to risk everything in something that you do not understand too deep for now I just want to give advice for you to learn in market trading and hopefully treat your hurt

Sorry for your loss, I understand how this feels, but next time you need to do some research on projects before investing, even though so might go wrong, so the best bet is never to invest all your fund in one project no matter how promising it seem. Now it's time to move on.

I think it is the time to move on, I know the feeling to lose huge money because of the FOMO and it is really frustrating. I feel you but it cannot changed the reality after all, embrace the loss that you incurred. I know it is not easy but acceptance is the key for you to learn a lot of knowledge from it. It is just a mistake and it not defines who you are, you can still regain your losses but the first thing that you should do is to move on and accept it as a lesson.

Do not give up your hope when you lose, it is an experience for you. In the future, avoid projects like this and should only invest in the best altcoins in this market. I also lost a lot in this market and until now I am still here and working with it

I will advice you follow the project up and see if they still have future or plans for the project. It may fall today doesn't me it will be same forever. If it's a project from good team you will recover you loss by waiting but if they don't have any information or plans for the team please you kindly sell off the remaining and use it to buy an old coin then leave it for some while you may gain something back. Sorry for the loss. It's part of investment (ups and dowbs?).

The incident is very sad. It's a very difficult task to overcome such a big loss. Also, you have to understand that it's very risky to invest in crypto without proper knowledge. You can't invest all of your savings in crypto. It is intelligent to invest only in that amount which you can afford to lose. Hopefully, you will overcome this loss in the days ahead.
The only possible thing for him to recover his amount through invest it into the another potential project. He was loosing almost 90% from his amount if he was not cutting loss his investment into the ESH.
The only choice to participate into the IEO to recover it instantly

It means that you are provoked by evil people so that you are tempted to exchange your ethereum, don't easily believe other people's news or invitations,At least do some research before making a decision to make this experience a lesson, you will definitely rise up and be more careful

Almost 50% of my portfolio is Ethereum, the other 50% are different altcoins and tokens, as well as bitcoin. I believe that it was wrong to use almost the majority of my most valuable cryptocurrency asset to invest in new and apparently dubious projects. I believe that an investor should not be guided by a thirst for profit, which is excited at the sight of a proposal of a new project to buy tokens with a 50 percent or 90% discount. Such options are more likely to be trickery and manipulation.

if you've been stuck there, then you can only wait. because if you withdraw your investment, then you will actually lose a lot. but if you really want to attract and invest in other platforms and hope there is a big increase so that it can cover the previous losses, that's better. but in the current market situation, we know it is quite difficult or at least takes time.

I don’t know what kind of Ethereum-based project have you invested mate, but you have to be careful from now and start managing your risks very well. I know how it feels to lose that amount of Ethereum due to the circumstances of that project you’ve invested. It feels like your heart is drowning. I’ve been in the same situation as you before when I didn’t have the time to do research and common sense in investing to those unpromising projects, which ended up losing a lot of money and regretted my decision too.

On a brighter note, it gives us the opportunity to learn about these opportunities that we should not participate next time. Instead of thinking on how to recover, you have to act instead. But how? Look for more online income opportunities whether if it’s costs you nothing or a few bucks. Diversify your income streams.

Been there man. It’s hard for me to recover myself when I lose a lot of money on phishing scams, investing in wrong opportunities, etc., like it feels that everything was taken away from me after I am working hard on it. These circumstances gives us the opportunity to learn and move forward, and make better decisions this time. It took me a few years to finally get it back, as I keep going no matter how slow it is.

Just take it one step at a time man, you can recover.

By trading, you might be able to recover some of your's ethereum. But first thing first and you need to be well informed and educated before starting crypto trading. Also, you must have patience to make right decisions. Try to do event trading which means trade only on those coins which are going to have some major events and for this thing, you can follow CoinMarketCal to track upcoming events of cryptocurrencies.

This is really a sad predicament and you really got caught up in the web of FOMO indeed, there's has been a general warning to investments in cryptocurrency that's goes "don't put all eggs in one basket" or rather invest with "funds you can afford to lose". The deed is done and unfortunately you didn't mention the name of the project so it would be very difficult to advise whether you should cut your loses and move on or stay in the trade if the project has potential but either way my advise goes thus; conduct a bery through research about the project and check if they have potentials to bounce back later or you cut you loses

When you invest do big research before,
I personally don't trade altcoints because they are too risky for me.
It gives you uselessly FOMO and you will fail in this gambling mindset.
However there is always hope, I know is very hard when market is going
against you and you must decide if you taking lost or wait a bit more.

Fomo is inevitable in this market, we can't control our emotions and we're stuck with it all the time. I have also fomo lots of altcoins and lost a lot with it. You still have the property, so use it appropriately to make a profit. Don't give up and start over
You're right, I've also been trapped in some of my altcoin investments. but it didn't make me give up. I am addicted to continue investing and continue to look for profit. now I am starting to like trade and investment.
Investment is always the best option in this market. If you have experience, I believe you will make a huge profit every month. In the past I only focused on bounty and hold altcoin, but recently I have moved to trading and got good results.
Even if you have enough experience and that will not give you guarantee if you can join in the market at the best time. The coin that has already invested by OP is very stable right now and it was going to the bottom price again or i could say it can go down even further and look at the chart https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/switch/
