Because there's no such thing as cryptonight v7! It's cryptonight v1 on monero v7.

Let's get the community corrected on that point.

Anyone can release algorithms for these boards, not just us. There are several people doing it, and some have already posted public code. In the discord there's a dozen or so devs who are making bitstreams

Yes you can place multiples, we just didn’t want to have one person sweep in and take them all at once.

There are currently a couple hundred boards open, and some more that are earmarked but I will make available to the community if there is demand.

I expect those couple hundred to sell out over night as the other side of the world gets involved, so if you want any I would get them now.

i'm in the same boat. could you please open up the paypal option? sounds like some were able to complete their transaction with paypal. i have crypto but i'd rather use cash/cc instead for this venture. thanks!

Ordered just 1 for now, definitely excited about this project and been following it pretty much since the first post. Seems like there are about 3 different FPGA hardware threads right now, going to be a fun next few months to see what comes of them!

Thought about buying 4 more but didn’t feel like waiting until August, went with 20 more Vegas instead

Whitefire990 / Zetheron have done a lot of work on this - because of the cost and performance of the card, the cost to water cool it and run it at maximum efficiency is actually worth it - per them.

We’re going to have an installed waterblock option available for purchased that will come on the board when you receive it.

I stopped stocking the unmodified boards because people were buying them and then requesting to be switched to modified.

Everyone wanted the modified boards.
