LBRY seems kinda dead. I only keep my coins cause they are only worth 4$ or something lately. I dont think its a good buy.

I was wondering about this a few days ago. LBRY seemed to have really good potential, which made me wonder why has it been left behind? If it would've had more marketing or promotion, I'm sure that it would've became a very popular platform for decentralized content sharing. But maybe things could change, and LBRY could be worth much more than what it is right now.  Undecided

Anyways, speaking of altcoins to buy I would consider Ardor as comes from NXT developers, and the features it brings like Child Chains look very promising. It is so undervalued right now, but I think that things will be very bright for Ardor once it launches next year.  Smiley

Quick returns in Altcoins trading and ICO returns, are  killing LBRY, can someone tell me what gives SNGLs the matketcap it has now if not the ICO fund raised (no platform, no software, no project yet). The reaction of the market to anything not ICO project is preventing us from having another successful Bitcoin-like project

It is sad to hear that LBRY is dead. There was some hype building around it. I think Ardor is going to make it big once it is up and running. Overall NXT as a whole seems promising and I have some positive feel about the platform.

That's what I am saying, altcoins are not good for long term investment, it will just die easy and it's only good for trading. It's really hard to trust altcoins when most of it are just scam coins, I would only trust bitcoin for my long term.

for me, altcoins is good for short term and maybe for middle term but if for long term, i am not sure because like now situation, we can see that many altcoin have reduce and start for their beginning price and its really need a time to get ups like 2 months ago. and if someone have stuck in their stock, maybe they just make cut loss and do not want to hold for any longer.

From what I can see, cryptos with a good performance in the market are those with good initial distribution, truly decentrilized and with good features, which could be difficult to implement in Bitcoin. Among these cryptocurrencies, a good altcoin is Litecoin, due to its initial distribuition, improvements and stability in the market, but the trading volume is too low. Monero seems to be a legit cryptocurrency, but I'm not sure if the improvements could be easily implemented in Bitcoin, if necessary. With regard to Ethereum, things are very unstable, so it is not the investment that I would consider as safe atm.

It seems like LTC was losing his hype with another new crypto. Monero had got this moment; ETH still walks in a row of a fork. You may think about stratis right now. It's the right one now.
But too many the ico project was going out from the digital implementation but was offering something is no sense in my mind.

Stratis still has a long road to ride. if you plan to trade, move back and forth to coins and gain money do it to the coins where market can move everyday such as ETH, XMR and of course BTC. They are the once that you should be getting into.

For long term coins, check ICN.

Well i am also looking for the good altcoins which i can buy at the cheap rates. i have also confusion about that how peoples are buying coins at cheap rates when ico is running or finished, where they buy those coins?

It is better to buy the coin with potential, but not the cheap price. Most cheap coins are just scam coins.

No. Better try to earn them either from faucet or any other source. Most of these coins aren't worth buying.

You can thank me for this Information Cool

crowetic(Hero Member) one of the developer wrote in the QORA bitcointalk:

little secret...  web wallet is almost complete
After the next few things I'm getting developed are done...
Then marketing starts HARD.

Be ready!

here is the proof:

I think we will see a break out of Qora in the next few days!

here is my chart analysis:
https://www.tradingview.com/chart/QORABTC/meQTgoQf-Qora-will-break-out-from-the-triangle-very-soon-LONG/

There's a lot of potential value from decentralized hosting, polling and now the decentralized slack-clone Quoth.
Slack is a multi billion dollar company, but it doesn't offer decentralization like Quoth does.
In April 2016 , Slack was valued at $2.8 billion

You won't find a definitice answer because everyone wants something different and like a coin for different reasons. I think just wait a while and see how active the Dev is. If he seems to care about the coin then its looking good. Next you should like the name and look of the coin and always look st the volume to see what is a reasonable amount to invest.

Agree. When investing into an altcoin, I think that the number one priority to consider should be looking into development activity of the cryptocurrency, as well as how big is its community supporting it, among other factors. Also, when altcoins have a premine, it usually limits its ability to rise in price. That being said, you should focus more on good old alts like Litecoin and Dogecoin, which have been actively maintained for years with a stronger network than most new alts, and popularity among the markets.

The only time, in my own opinion, that you should invest into new alts is if the same delivers a promising roadmap, and development team with years of experience in this field.  Smiley

That is right. But you have to buy the coins with good development team. They can hleop the success of the coin.

BlockPay could definitely bring some traction to the BitShares ecosystem, and also help spread mass adoption of cryptocurrencies in the mainstream world. There are some pretty exciting things about it, especially the latest announced development of Stealth transactions. If everything goes successful, I think it could be one of the best investments ever made.  Smiley

In addition to this, I have no doubt that the price will skyrocket once it hits popular exchanges like Poloniex or Bittrex. Nevertheless, thanks for letting me know about this new asset. This will definitely go towards my list of investments.   Wink

Not everyone who says "this coin is dead" is not all true, because most of them are only saying that because they are insecure to those people who have that coins that they don't have, people are always like that. But if you want to have altcoin, it is better if you will earn it to their faucet than to buy it. I mean it is not that hard to earn altcoins, so why buy one?, well, it's just my opinion though.

I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

Actually, I really don't follow altcoin neither a fanatic of it. I'm just riding in the flow of the altcoins, if there is something that I thought which will be pump, well for what I'm gonna do is I will buy the coins then will wait for the pump and dump, for me to grow my coins. So if there are altcoin worth  buying that is eth, ltc, cbx I think.
