though i dont think it is still worth buying right now because it is just a crypto that will most probably is not going to grow, it is better to just hold bitcoins

thats true, there are a lot of shitcoins at the moment that are not good to buy because they are just created to make the owner some good money

For investment You'll have to find a coin that has or will have a real life purpose. Otherwise it will die eventually.
Actually I wouldn't recommend invest in any other altcoin, because most of them don't have any important thing to contribute and they have only been developed as pump and dump schemes to speculate and raise money. So it is enough with your current worth of bitcoin as a very profitable investment in the long run.
Not all of them to be fair, you can still find a good altcoins like waves and lisk which has not boom yet. ETH as of the moment cannot get my trust due to the market movement which is hard to predict its future.
